Auto CAD Basics In this course, students will learn the terminology, functions and principles of CAD operations as well as building documentation. Additionally, students will be introduced to advanced software for three-dimensional modeling, rendering and animation. In the final project, Students will be form into groups of 4 to recreate the drawing of the assigned building. The project required accurate measurement and Window of Second Floor details. My group was assigend to recreate the front facade of the Furness Bank, my part were the window frames and third floor facade.

Introduction to Design and Construction This course introduces students to the fields of architecture, interior design, construction and related disciplines. This course provides students with a broad understanding of the design and construction fields. Students will learn contemporary methods for accessing and processing information about the design professions. The final project of the course is to design a living room. The project sked the students to use a pattern that they designed to form the flow of the room.

Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center The overall design was inspired by the flora and fauna of the desert, the rooms are located by their function, the materials are suitable for the desert weather. Since I want the visitors, staffs and the rangers of the National park to appreciate the hidden beauty of the area nature by making the curve shape roof on cubic rooms, just like the beautiful cactus flowers bloom between the hard rocks in the desert.

Drawing 105 The course focuses on the basic principles of drawing. Through working from direct observation, students learn about the concepts and mechanics of drawing. Students will be taught how to control the placement of objects on the page, and the use of sight measuring—sighting along a pencil to compare distances and angles and to compare height vs. width. Students will also be taught how to construct geometric forms using sight measuring, perspective (convergence), transparent construction (drawing every object as though you can see through it) and tone (value). Students will learn about the materials and supplies of drawing through demonstrations given by the instructor and through the drawing process. Throughout the course, art history will be referenced to illustrate concepts discussed in the course.

Studio for a Garphic Designer Project You have been commissioned to create a rooftop studio addition to an architecturally distinctive rowhouse on Delancey Place in Center City Philadelphia. Without creating individual rooms, consider how you can shape the spaces according to the function they serve and their relationship to light and views. he concept of my model is to bring as much natural lights into the room as possible, and the room must be well organized .The overall shape of the model, I want the clients of the Saul Bass to see the cleverness of his works expressed in the ceiling form of the room -a wavy shape with big skylights.

Desert House The project is to design a shelter for five researchers in a remote section of the Sonoran Desert in southwestern Arizona, outside of Yuma. The shelter will include sleeping and work areas for each of the researchers and common space, and a cooking area. To make the researchers live comfortably in this desert, I put the bedroom’s windows on the north side so they won’t experience any harsh sunlight into the room during the day. High ceilings for hot air to rise and escape through the upper windows. The walls are concrete with stucco on the outside to keep the interior temperature comfortable.

Solar Noon Tracker In this project, I have to design an architecture structure to track the solar noon sun lights through out the months that can fit on the window sill on the South side of West Building. Solar noon is when the sun is at its highest point in the sky each+ day. It occurs when the Sun crosses the celestial meridian (an imaginary line running across the sky from due South to due North, passing through a point directly overhead (the zenith)). For my design, I decided to go with The shape of the model was inspired by the forms of the ocean waves.

Esherick House In this project, the student were tasked with developing the plans and elevations for use in a rehabilitation project. The project will provides some information to construct the model in Revit; However, the students will be required to do some research regarding exterior materials and window design.

Speculated Office Building In this project, the students will need to design an office building of their choice. The building required to have two floors with restrooms, an elevator and some office spaces. In this project, I decided to give the building a big skylight to bring natural lights into the office spaces

Soul Making Chamber In this project, students were asked specifically to design an outdoor contemplative garden and an indoor soul-making chamber, a room that captures and reveals solar noon in a distinctive way. The design should make your client feel comfortable and allow them to find rest and renewal. The design also need to be based on the research of the architects and their famous buildings. In this project, I was insipired by John Soan House by John Soan.
