For me, architecture is not just about designing a stylist shelter, it is much more than that. Architecture can be a voice, a tool, and a canvas for the architects to explore and use to their desire. Through creative designs, the artists can reveal themselves to the world; either by emphasizing their uniqueness and letting their voice be heard or by simply letting their presence be acknowledged. It is a tool to remind the world that everything is changing, nothing stays the same, and do not be afraid of the changes. A tool to fix, bring awareness, and a tool to fight for equity. It is a blank canvas to highlight the unity of diversity in our society; something that most of us often forget.

By studying architecture, I need open myself to feedback and critiques from all. But just listening to the outside thoughts is not enough to help me grow, together with listening to me has made me understand my identity. Knowing more about myself has helped me gain more confidence to share it with the world. I am opening myself to obtain knowledge and hope that one day I can contribute the skills that I have to learn to build a better world.
