Artistic director of the Beautiful Crimes gallery in the heart of Soho, Fin Dac also participates in the development of urban art.

Recognised in his field, he has been commissioned by major brands such as the Royal Albert Hall, Armani, G-Star, Red Bull and also collaborated for the London Olympic Games in 2012.

Through his work, the artist explores themes related to female emancipation and empowerment, readjusting the male gaze and disrupting colonialist attitudes particularly surrounding the Eastern experience.

Fin DAC’s artwork “Vergiss” is located on 178 E. Broadway Blvd, Tucson. This piece was designed for Urban Nation project in Berlin and later was destroyed pretty quickly when an art lover tried to remove it from the wall.

Urban Nation is a Contemporary museum for exhibitions of street art, sculpture & photography, plus citywide murals in Berlin, Germany.

In Fin DAC’s US tour: a 3 month trip around from state to state and city to city painting murals wherever he could, he visited Tucson, Arizona adding “Vergiss” to an historical building in downtown.

“Vergiss depicts a woman of Eastern origin in a position of solitary strength, thereby emboldening its surroundings and those who view it while also articulating the global shift towards female empowerment underlying the contemporary #metoo movement. In focusing on depicting strong. Eastern women Dac challenges traditional ideals of female passivity, sexual objectification, and exoticism,” muralmap.tucsonaz.gov noted.
