Pressure Vessel Design Procedure

A pressure vessel is a container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure. Pressure vessels must be able to withstand high pressures and temperatures. A metallic container, capable of withstanding various loadings and in which materials are processed, treated, or stored. Pressure vessels are containers for the containment of pressure, either internal or external as per requirements.
