hether it’s the football that attracts you or simply the commercials, the Super Bowl, which according to The Hollywood Reporter averages approximately 100 million television viewers, is a big deal. And this year, the Super Bowl halftime show raked in more viewers than the game itself.

Having a role in that show would be an experience of a lifetime, and 20 talented Coral Shores High School (CSHS) students got to do just that – they performed in the Super Bowl halftime show, three of them as Shakira’s dancers.

You read that right. Three members of the Coral Shores Canettes dance team danced on the field during Shakira’s opening halftime show performance of “She Wolf.” For Katie Black, Krista Black and Andrea Galvan, it was a dream come true.

“Dancing in the halftime show was an amazing experience because I’ve always wanted to be a backup dancer for celebrities,” said Krista Black. “I got to work with a lot of professional dancers and choreographers, and I got to touch Shakira.”

This all began only a few weeks ago when a Super Bowl casting representative first reached out to Canettes Coach Joanne Haddad.

Six of her dancers were available to participate in varying roles.

“I am tremendously proud of these girls,” said Haddad. “They are all so talented and the fact that we were able to show off their abilities and commitment on such a huge scale is awesome. They are great representatives of Coral Shores High School.”

After learning choreography and submitting audition videos, three of the six Canettes were chosen to

“I was really excited to be accepted because I didn’t really think I would get in,” said Black. “The actual performance was overwhelming because I’ve never performed in front of an audience that big. It was a huge moment, not just because there were millions of people watching, but because the stadium was filled with celebrities. Lady Gaga was there and she’s my idol.”

The remaining three Canettes and other lucky students from Coral Shores (13 theater students and one cheerleader) became halftime show “Field Fans.” In this role, the CSHS students and others from local Miami schools crowded around the stage on the football field, essentially there to hype up the show. Some of the Coral Shores students could be seen wearing tribal masks and were even involved in Shakira’s body surfing.

“The rehearsals were great, but when we were actually in the tunnel waiting to go on the field for the real thing, it was even more exciting than imagined,” said Michele Zofchak, Coral Shores English and theater teacher.

Zofchak also held a role in the performance and acted as the theater program group leader. “There was such a tangible feeling coming from the audience. You could literally feel their energy.”

Haddad and Zofchak both agreed this was not only the opportunity of a lifetime, but a learning experience the students will carry with them the rest of their lives.

“One of the Canettes is considering becoming a backup dancer – what a great way to begin that career,” said

Zofchak. “And some of my theater kids want to go further into the performing arts field, so seeing how a big production goes was really, really awesome for them. Even if they never do anything with theater again, 50 years from now they get to say, ‘Oh my gosh, I got to be in the halftime show!’”

All involved students attended rehearsals in the weeks leading up to the performance (many times after going to school) – with the dancers having to put in more strenuous work learning and practicing the She Wolf dance routine.

Gina Black, whose two daughters – Krista and Katie – danced with Shakira, said she is extremely proud of all three of the dancers. “These girls are 16 and 17 years old, dancing with girls in their 20s – some of them Dolphins cheerleaders, Marlins, college and Miami Heat dancers. They gave it their all and worked really hard.”

All participants were held under a strict confidentiality clause, which meant they couldn’t talk about the halftime show or post pictures until it was over. Each rehearsal, the students had to surrender their phones for hours at a time —probably the hardest part for some of them, according to Zofchak.

Haddad hopes the future will bring more opportunities to showcase the school’s dancers, actors, performers and artists, saying, “While our athletes are often highlighted, I was so happy to see our artists take center stage this weekend!”

One thing is for sure: “What’s one interesting fact about you?” is a question these students will never worry about. For them, Super Bowl LIV will never be forgotten.

A

minor tragedy associated with 2017’s Hurricane Irma was the destruction of Sugarloaf Key’s famous bat tower. The wooden tower stood as a testament to man’s struggle against the environment for decades before the eye of the hurricane crossed Cudjoe Key on Sept. 10. The tower had been built by Richter Clyde Perky, a real estate salesman working for Miami Beach’s Tatum Brothers before engaging in an investment opportunity in the Lower Keys in the 1920s.

By 1912, a small community of perhaps 100 had developed on Sugarloaf Key and become known as Chase, Florida. The community was named after Charles Chase, a Londoner who had partnered with his brother George and a friend named Henry Bate to purchase a Sugarloaf property where successful experimentation with commercial sponge cultivation had been occurring. The Chase team went on to develop The Florida Keys Sponge and Fruit Company. As well as commercially farming sponges in the shallows off of Sugarloaf Key, the company was growing Key lime trees.

The enterprise went bankrupt during World War I, when the company’s English financial backers diverted their funds to the war effort against Germany. Seeing an opportunity, Perky bought the failed company, as well as 23,000 acres of Monroe County property that included much of Sugarloaf Key. While he initially intended to try to reinvigorate the sponge and fruit business, the opening of State Road 4A in 1928, what would become known as the Overseas Highway, caused Perky to reconsider. Instead, he turned his eye to the burgeoning tourist industry and developed a fishing camp.

Perky had two ideas that he hoped would improve his business plan.

Both were implemented. First, he paid Monroe County to create a road that would connect his fish camp to State Road 4A. The highway’s original path skirted Sugarloaf Key and ran along the island’s Atlantic edge. The modern Overseas Highway, located much closer to what was once Perky’s fish camp, follows the right-of-way of Henry Flagler’s Over-Sea Railway.

Second, Perky attempted to address the area’s mosquito problem.

He had read about a man in Texas, Dr. Charles Campbell of San Antonio, who published a book called “Bats, Mosquitoes, and Dollars,” detailing the important role bats played in the control of mosquito populations. Campbell also promoted a bat tower of his own design. Several of the structures reportedly had already been constructed around Texas. Perky sent away for instructions. When his bat tower was completed, it was fitted with a plaque that read, “Dedicated to good health at Perky, Fla., by Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Perky, March 15, 1929.”

In addition to the building instructions, Perky sent away for a special blend of Dr. Campbell’s bat guano, advertised as a bat attractant. Perky even sent away for a supply of bats, though the Florida Keys are home to at least one species, the velvety freetailed bat. Perky placed the guano in the tower and then released the bats.

Unfortunately, the stench of the guano lasted longer than the bats which, upon release, simply flew off, off, and away from the tower.

While Perky’s fish camp disappeared decades ago (Perky died in 1940), Perky’s road, Sugarloaf Boulevard, is still a thoroughfare. Sadly, the bat tower, once one of the Keys’ unique roadside attractions and found in just about every guidebook written about the island chain, stands no longer.

BRIEFLY Critical connections to the island chain The Historical Preservation Society of the Upper Keys’ February program will be a photo presentation entitled “Bridges of the Keys,” given by Loralea Carrera, the society’s vice president.

From the first railroad bridges to the bridges of today, Carrera’s “then and now” photo format examines the spans that have provided critical connections between our island chain for over 100 years. Trolley through time this Saturday The Matecumbe Historical Trust’s “Trolley Tour through Time” will run on Saturday, Feb. 8. The tour will start at 10 a.m. from the Whale Harbor Restaurant, located at 83413 Overseas Highway, Islamorada. A monitor is located at the front of the trolley showing over 90 photos of the past as passengers see them as they are today. Tours take about an hour. Admission for adults is $20; children 6 and under are admitted free. A pop-up shop by MHT volunteers will provide information, books, T-shirts, historic photographs and memorabilia for sale. More information or reservations are available from Barbara at 305-393-0940 Lecture series welcomes research scientist On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park will sponsor the fifth lecture of the 29th annual lecture series, “The Delicate Balance of Nature.” Donald McNeill, research scientist with the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, will present “The Geologic History of the Florida Keys.” McNeill’s talk on the geologic formation of the Florida Keys will draw on his experience with geologic research projects here in the Florida Keys and worldwide. The presentation will be at the Visitor Center and Aquarium building inside John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, MM 102.5, oceanside.

There is no cost to enter the park for the lecture series. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the lecture begins at 7:30 p.m.

ALLAHASSEE — Inside the Florida Capitol, leaders in the Keys — from the city of Key West to the Key Largo Wastewater District — walked the hallways to rooms where they met legislators, lobbyists and various agency officials. From home rule to affordable housing, Keys-related matters took center stage in Tallahassee on Feb. 4.

“I’m surprised with the size of this delegation,” Secretary of State Laura Lee said to the group. “And not everyone comes up with conch fritters and rum punch.”

The day-long advocacy event, known as Florida Keys Day, saw the Keys contingent convening with agency heads and lawmakers who shape policies affecting life in the Keys. Following a breakfast and a briefing with state Rep. Holly Raschein, who started Florida Keys Day as a Leadership Monroe County Class XVII project 10 years ago, the group proceeded to the Knott Building where they heard from cabinet members throughout the day. A brief meet-and-greet was held with House Speaker Jose Oliva. Later in the day, the group stood inside the Cabinet Room where they met none other than Gov. Ron DeSantis for a photo op.

The morning kicked off with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commissioner Robert Spottswood, who spoke on the challenges facing the protection of natural resources in the Keys. Spottswood says there are about 50 FWC officers in the Keys protecting the waters and the fishery, and they’re certainly stressed with a large area to cover.

With work underway to craft a budget, Spottswood says the hope is to add five officers in the Keys — and he knows that’s not nearly enough.

“We’re also looking at the cost of housing and the incredible burden it's placed on our folks coming in who are experiencing the highest cost of living in the state,” he said. “ We’re looking at the compensation levels. We’re aware of the need for more law enforcement out on the water. The common theme I hear is law enforcement is doing a good job, but there’s not enough out there.”

Spottswood also commented on the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary's Restoration Blueprint.

The first public comment period has come and gone as the sanctuary begins to review comments.

“We expect to have a lot of giveand-take with them,” he said. “There’s going to be some things people won’t like and some people will.”

Spottswood said he’ll be asking the sanctuary for law enforcement assistance as well.

Following the lecture, a group ventured down to the governor’s cabinet room, where Monroe County Mayor Heather Carruthers took to the podium to relay support for the continued Area of Critical State Concern designation. It was subsequently approved.

“We’re also thrilled to be able to add canal restoration to our work plan because that’s sort of the last frontier in terms of water quality,” she said.

“We appreciate the support and look forward to cleaning up more water in the Keys.”

Monroe County leaders met with Oliva during Florida Keys Day. Carruthers and commissioners David Rice and Craig Cates, along with County Administrator Roman Gastesi and County Attorney Bob Shillinger, discussed the Land Acquisition Trust Fund and Stewardship Act funding.

Marathon leaders stuck to a busy schedule as they met with various senators, as well as the governor’s deputy chief of staff on issues of takings claims, vacation rentals and Keys Stewardship appropriations. Marathon City Manager Chuck Lindsey said the

day was not only a great opportunity to showcase the Keys in Tallahassee, but it was also extremely productive.

“Working collaboratively, our Marathon team spent the day meeting with key legislators gaining support for crucial items impacting the Florida Keys,” he said. “While it was an extremely productive day, it was bittersweet knowing that this will be our last session with Rep. Raschein and Sen. Flores at the helm as both have reached term limits. Their hard work and support of the Keys has been profound and for that we are extremely grateful.”

Key West City Manager Greg Veliz said his day of meetings went well.

Affordable housing was one of the big issues he stressed.

“It’s great to come up here and meet with them, but we can’t just stop there,” he said. “We have to keep on it.”

Islamorada Mayor Mike Forster emphasized the importance of the Area of State Critical Concern designation and the unique and specific requests to the issues faced throughout the island chain.

“Be it compensation for civil servants, teachers in order for retainment, to vacation rentals and sharing the cost of the 2023 end of ROGO, we need the state to partner with us to remain the great donor county that helps set the standards of sustainability and a fair balance of tourism and water-based lifestyle that we have all come to enjoy,” he said.

Leaders from Key Colony Beach had several private meetings throughout the day. City Administrator Chris Moonis said the group met with state Sen. Anitere Flores to discuss home rule and vacation rentals. They also sat down with the Office of Resiliency and Coastal Protection.

The Keys group also had the opportunity to hear from Noah Valenstein, Department of Environmental Protection secretary, who lauded the response to coral disease; Jimmy Patronis, chief financial officer; Ashley Moody, attorney general, who spoke briefly on confronting human traffickers and cybercriminals; and Ken Lawson, Department of Economic Opportunity executive director, who spoke briefly on Visit Florida as well as Rebuild Florida. Lawson noted the program that aims to help people recover from Irma has been slow. One project is underway with eight pending. Four hundred awards still await action.

Following a day of meetings and talks, Keys leaders met with staff and leaders outside the Capitol Building for a little rum punch, conch fritters, Key lime popsicles and music from John Bartus.

Shipwrecks abound offering underwater photographers great opportunities. JOHN CHRISTOPHER FINE/Contributed

“Florida is the epicenter for sunken Spanish treasure galleons.” That was the mantra of the late Bob ‘Frogfoot’ Weller. He searched for shipwrecks in the Keys for over 40 years.

His discoveries rivaled those of his friend Mel Fisher. Frogfoot was always successful as he knew Florida’s underwater bounty can never be exhausted.

Furious hurricanes wrecked about 10% of colonial Spanish shipping. Centuries of wind, waves and storms in the Atlantic scattered this wreckage over miles of ocean. It will never all be found.

Finding sunken treasure requires careful research, high tech equipment and perseverance. When I decided to travel south to join my friends in the Florida Keys on recent underwater explorations, I packed my 35 horsepower outboard engine, inflatable boat, treasure detectors, scuba tanks and equipment. I took everything I would need to be autonomous in the months that followed. Driving with a packed car was the only alternative. The inflatable would be perfect for offshore exploration in shallow water.

I was lecturing and teaching in the north when I got a call that finds

were being made on Treasure Beach at MM 74 in Lower Matecumbe. I was told to bring my gear; Treasure Beach beckoned. Silver colonial Spanish coins were discovered right on the spit of sand that I always search along a sliver of beach at a crescent curve of Overseas Highway. I was anxious to see what I could find with my new Garrett AT Max waterproof detectors.

A 1,500-mile trip with a full car is exhausting. It requires at least one overnight. While fuel costs have gone down, it is not inexpensive to drive. I checked into Amtrak’s Auto Train. They had a sale in effect. I was able to book my SUV and passage very reasonably.

When I have to get a packed car back to Florida after lecturing in the north, I joke that Amtrak’s Auto Train is my Florida Treasure Express. The train is operated from Lorton, Virginia, just south of Washington, DC right off I-95, to Sanford, Florida about twenty miles north of Orlando.

I got to the Keys in good time as I pulled in and parked in spaces at Lobster Walk, just across the highway from Treasure Beach. First thing I did was check out areas I knew where a Spanish galleon, the El Lerri, wrecked offshore. Hurricanes ripped up the Keys and did considerable damage along Florida’s coast. For veteran treasure hunters, hurricanes and storms provide opportunities to search eroded beaches for Spanish treasure coins as well as artifacts thrown up from their inshore graveyards.

Locals know this thin spit of land, just beyond Lower Matecumbe Key, as Bale Beach. Since land was donated on the apron next to U.S. 1 to preserve natural sea oats, the beach also bears the name Sea Oats Beach. Bale Beach is derived from the fact that a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter intervened when bales of illegal marijuana floated ashore here.

I took my time searching along the narrow beach. It is here that Bill Cassinelli found a small clump that registered on his detector. When he broke the clump apart there were two minted silver pillar dollars bearing the date 1732. The outside of the coins was corroded. The coins faced each other in the clump, thus inside faces were in perfect condition. If both sides of the coins were in perfect condition, they would be worth $10,000 each.

The year 1732 was the first year Spanish mint masters used a screw press in the New World to mint perfectly round coins.

I discovered a well-worn piece of eight and a smaller silver coin that was badly corroded yet of colonial Spanish mintage. These coins were clearly thrown up on the beach by the fury of a storm. The coins were rolled around

in sand and did not offer dates or clear markings.

Next, I headed north toward Key Largo to join friends who were licensed by the State of Florida under a preexisting admiralty claim. When the Abandoned Shipwreck Act was passed in 1988, formally codified as Public Law 100-298, the U.S. government transferred its title and authority under Admiralty Law to the states. Abandoned shipwrecks embedded in coralline formations on the state’s submerged lands as well as abandoned shipwrecks located on a state’s submerged lands were ceded to states.

State waters include areas from the high water mark seaward three miles. Islands can extend state jurisdiction to three miles from the island.

Those admiralty claims filed by treasure salvors prior to the effective date of the Abandoned Shipwreck Act are grandfathered in. These shipwreck sites can be worked by the licensee usually with participation, cooperation and sharing of artifacts with Florida.

Salvors in the Keys with licenses from the State of Florida, acting under pre-existing admiralty claims, adhering to environmentally safe excavation methods, employing certified archaeologists to document and preserve finds, continue to explore and exploit colonial Spanish shipwrecks.

State of Florida. I wanted to document the remains of a Spanish shipwreck with my underwater camera. Nothing remained of the hull. What was left to see on the ocean bottom, after the fury of a hurricane that struck the treasure fleet returning to Spain in 1733 scattering wreckage from about Marathon north to Key Largo and beyond, were ballast stones. These river rocks can easily be distinguished from normal coralline rock formations.

When hurricanes struck, galleons were bounced over shoals and shallow reefs. Ballast stones would be scattered out of broken hulls or remain in the sunken derelict to mark the shipwreck long after all wood deteriorated. Heavy cannons would either be thrown overboard to give distressed galleons maneuverability and prevent sinking when they took on water or the wrecking would also leave behind ship’s cannons and anchors as it sank.

I photographed an anchor underwater. One huge fluke was embedded in coral. The stem of the anchor faced shore, its fluke dug in, evidence that sailors put the anchor over to hold their ship, hoping to prevent it careen-

ing onto shallow reefs.

There is fun diving anywhere in Florida’s Keys. Shipwrecks abound, offering underwater photographers many great opportunities. It is important to remember that shipwreck sites are protected by Florida laws. Look, photograph, but do not touch unless under permit from state authorities.

If in any of the national underwater parks and sanctuary areas, their jurisdiction applies as well.

Florida has designated the shipwreck site of the San Pedro as a historic underwater preserve. While the original cannons have been removed, the state has placed cement cannons around a ballast pile for divers to enjoy. The San Pedro is a shallow dive accessible to snorkelers. The cement cannons simulate an original 1733 fleet wreck site.

Treasure Beach awaits intrepid explorers as do shipwrecks offshore.

Exploring the symbolism around Lunar New Year

M

y name is Tiffany, and I am a wood rat. I am not one of our endangered little Key Largo rodents, but, according to Chinese astrology and philosophy and by virtue of my birth year TIFFANY and season, my “element” is wood and I was born in DUONG the year of the rat.

During this time, people visit ancestors’ graves, give children lucky red envelopes filled with money, light firecrackers to ward off evil spirits, and refuse to sweep in case it sweeps away all of their good luck.

I am the first person in my family to be born and raised in the U.S, so growing up, some of these old traditions sounded like superstitious Asian wives’ tales. Nevertheless, I followed them anyway; I didn’t want to tempt fate in case she really is an old Chinese sage.

So, what does this upcoming Year of the Metal Rat mean for me, the wood rat? “Not good. It might be a very bad year for you,” my mom warned me over the phone.

According to Asian astrology and philosophy, each person’s destiny is determined by a complex mix of their date and time of birth,

zodiac sign (birth year), and where the major planets and celestial bodies (sun, moon, comets, etc.) were when he or she was born.

A person’s birth year determines his/her zodiac sign. The 12 zodiac animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. In Vietnam, Rabbit is replaced by Cat. This cycle is part of how my mom and others like her forecast what the lunar new year will bring.

The other cycle at play has to do with the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The belief is that the world changes according to how these five elements interact with each other -- generating and overcoming, yin and yang.

The five generating interactions promote development: metal carries water (buckets, pipes); water nourishes wood; wood fuels fire; fire forms earth/ash; earth produces metal.

Such element pairs imply good luck and success.

The five overcoming interactions control development or create destruction: metal penetrates wood (chopping, ax, sawing); wood separates earth (tree roots); earth absorbs water; water quenches fire; fire melts metal. These interactions bring bad luck and destruction.

The interplay of the zodiac and the element cycles means a metal rat year like 2020 only comes around every 60 years. And the present-day alignment (or misalignment) of all these different philosophies determines each person’s fortune for the upcoming year.

So, my mom cautions me that it might be a rough year for me. 2020 is my zodiac year, or năm tuổi in Vietnamese, she tells me.

“Remember your dad died in his năm tuổi, your grandma died in her năm tuổi, and your aunt lost all her money in her năm tuổi,” she warns. “So be very careful next year.” Whoa. I hear you, mom.

As if my offending zodiac year wasn’t enough, I am also a wood rat living in a metal rat’s year. Metal cuts wood in an overcoming interaction, and so, according to traditional thinking, the metallic element of this upcoming year could wreak havoc upon my woody essence.

rom giant mahogany trees to aquatic gardens, five private Keys properties are set to showcase their beautiful island garden-style homes as part of the 40th Garden Walk.

On Saturday, Feb 15, the Garden Club of the Upper Keys is inviting garden gurus, landscaping fanatics and the public on a tour that begins at MM 90, bayside, and ends at MM 103, oceanside. Gardens such as the attendees will visit first on the tour have come a long way since Hurricane Irma. With eight palms and more than 60 plants, owner Sherry Coussens said her property has undergone a complete transformation.

“It was a true mess following Irma,” she said. “We had a lot of stuff that was destroyed.

We gutted the entire yard and replaced everything except the palms. We kept the crotons and one fire bush. Everything else was completely changed and reconfigured.”

The Garden Walk’s second stop will descend upon a property at MM 89, bayside. With 13 native Florida palm trees, attendees will view an elegant portrait created by a highly skilled south Florida gardener.

From there, the tour will stop at a property not too far away that was used during the filming of “Bloodline.” The residence, which sits on an angle on two lots, features a variety of plants including copper plant, bottlebrush and locust berry.

Stop four brings garden walkers to a multiacre property with more than 390 unique vari-

eties of flora. “Bali Hai” contains large and rare specimens, with hidden pathways that meander through the property. View the Old Man Palm, strangler fig, Thai beauty bamboo and more. Most plants on the property have QR codes that link to information about the plant.

The fifth and final stop brings garden walkers to a Key Largo property at MM 103, oceanside. With aquatic features and murals, the property contains a beautiful young garden and glorious gardens.

“There’s something for everyone to see during this year’s Garden Walk,” said Patti Graham, Upper Keys Garden Club publicity director. “People can go on this fairy tale tour with five properties that contain beautiful gardens.”

Comments: The Permitting Authority will accept written comments concerning the draft Title V air operation permit for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of the Public Notice. Because this permitting project is also a revision to the existing Title V air operation permit, the revisions detailed in the Statement of Basis are the only portions of the permit that are open for public comment or challenge. Comments received related to the remainder of the permit will not be addressed during this permitting action.

Written comments must be received by the close of business (5:00 p.m.), on or before the end of this 30-day period by the Permitting Authority at the above address. As part of his or her comments, any person may also request that the Permitting Authority hold a public meeting on this permitting action. If the Permitting Authority determines there is sufficient interest for a public meeting, it will publish notice of the time, date, and location in the Florida Administrative Register (FAR). If a public meeting is requested within the 30-day comment period and conducted by the Permitting Authority, any oral and written comments received during the public meeting will also be considered by the Permitting Authority. n Jan. 25, John Pennekamp State Park was once again host to the annual Native Plant Day. In its 12th year, Native Plant Day began as a way to educate and enlighten attendees on growing native plants, how to care for them, and why they’re important to the delicate environment of the Florida Keys. Florida Park Service volunteers execute the yearly event, ensuring a balance of education and entertainment. This year’s event had booths from the Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Florida Keys Mosquito Control, Reef Environmental Education Foundation, Save-A-Turtle and more.

Attracting people of all ages, the day’s activities featured a special nature walk for children, children’s games and arts and crafts, a talk on the insects that live in our gardens, nature trail walks through the tropical hardwood hammocks of John Pennekamp, and butterfly garden tours. Most notable may have been the native plant giveaway.

This year, 200 native plants were given to locals on a first-come, first-served basis to plant in their Keys gardens.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & 5 - 8 yrs related exp (or equivalent exp) is required. Knowledge of MAS200 preferred. CPA and/or non-profit experience a plus.
