NCAA Division III Most varsity sports at Keystone College compete as members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), except men’s and women’s track and field, which compete as members of the Mason-Dixon Conference. Football will compete in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC). Colleges and universities in Division III place highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of all students’ academic programs. They seek to establish and maintain an environment in which athletic activities for student-athletes are conducted as an integral part of the student-athlete’s educational experience.

I transferred to Keystone College for my junior and senior years to get my degree in accounting and play for a successful baseball program. Keystone was a great fit for me. English is not my first language and the professors were really helpful. If you show them you want to learn, they go out of their way to help. I am fortunate to have the talent to play ball at a higher level, but I decided to receive my degree at Keystone and better prepare myself for my future after professional baseball.

Through my internship, I gained the professional knowledge and insight needed to advance my career plans after graduation. I felt ready to start the next phase of my life thanks to the support of my professors. Their guidance helped me to become a strong job candidate in a competitive field. My summer internship at the Philadelphia Zoo was amazing. I completed an individual animal behavior research project about a female red panda and delivered a presentation about my findings. She recently was put into a new exhibit, so I collected data on her behaviors in areas of the enclosure. My Keystone College classroom and volleyball sports experience, along with the zoo internship have all taught me the value of teamwork. I learned how to push myself to succeed beyond my comfort zone, and have confidence I never had thanks to Keystone College.

Apply to KC Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. We recommend early application prior to the semester in which studies will begin. This will afford students an early decision, and priority in merit scholarship selection and financial aid awarding. Specific directions for various student situations can be found at www.keystone.edu/ apply.
Test Optional Policy Keystone College recently adopted a test optional admissions policy. Research has shown that high school GPA is a much stronger indicator of academic ability and a more reliable predictor of college success. Standardized test scores will be considered if submitted, and applicants are encouraged to submit scores if they believe the results are a positive reflection of their academic ability. Keystone reserves the right to request scores in some cases.
Scholarship Opportunties Every student who is admitted to Keystone may be considered for one of ten merit scholarships. In addition, a number of donor-supported, program-specific and need-based scholarships are available.
Keystone VETS The Keystone College Veterans Educational Transition and Support program (KCVETS) coordinates programs and services across campus to better assist our veteran students. This effort takes each veteran from “boots to books,� culminating in a successful and satisfying completion of the college experience.
