roductivity may be the buzzword of the mortgage broking industry, with banks badgering brokers over application quality and process efficiency, but Westpac head of mortgage broker distribution Tony MacRae has said the rhetoric has lost sight of a central fact: productivity is a partnership. “I think the current productivity and quality debate has really lost sight of the reality that there’s a customer at the centre of everything we do, both for our brand and for the broker’s brand,” MacRae said.
