THASLEEMA DCON is abbreviated District Convention, but in truth, it stands for District Training and Leadership Conference.

Typically, the convention lasts for 3 days. It is the best time of the year for Key Club members We recognize individuals for his/her outstanding contribution during the administrative year, motivate members, educate, inspire Key Club members, share new ideas, projects and experiences and most importantly, enjoy oneself.

RULES

Keep shoulders covered at all times with a jacket or scarf NO CROCS or BRIDGETS during formal and business events.

No open-toe flat shoes. Shoes must be closed-toe NO Jeans unless casual attire MUST wear ID pin.

Keep dresses and skirts below or at knee level.

STUDENTS ATTENDING CONVENTION It's been a great year so far and convention closes off the administrative year. It is imperative that you are appropriately dress for each event.

Business casual: Refers to slacks, collared shirts and appropriate shoes for males and slacks or skirts and blouses or collared shirt and appropriate shoes for females.

Formal: For the ladies this dress code requires a short (knee-length when seated) or long formal dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates. For men, a dark suit, white shirt, and conservative tie is appropriate. Men can opt to wear a tuxedo if they wish, as the formal dress code is really another way to describe black tie optional

Casual: Refers to jeans, collared shirts or appropriate t-shirts and casual footwear for males and shorts, skirts or jeans, collared shirt, sweatshirt or appropriate t-shirt and casual footwear.

Business Professional: This refers to dress shirt, slacks, neckties sport or suit coat and appropriate shoes for males, and dress or suit, skirt or slacks, blouse and appropriate shoes for females.
