"I attended the Sistrict Webinar on October 9th. It was very informative and I had a great time learning about how I can get more involved in my home, school and community. During the pandemic, it’ s been hard to get more involved, so I appreciate how there were lots of amazing service ideas that were presented by Emily Leonard. Overall, this event was informative and I loved getting to learn more about Key Club on a larger scale. " - Jena Kim

"This event was primarily a qna session from college students from all over the country in circle k I believe (there was a student from California and another from New York) and they went over the questions that people emailed them such as what’ s different about college and high school, and the type of grades the students got in high school. They split the meeting into 2 breakout rooms, and depending on the majors, you could pick one close to the field you ’ re trying to get into. I liked that I was able to hear about college experiences from students that are actually in college and listen to things like their SAT score because I am worried about my grades affecting my chance of getting into a good college.

Back

"The harvest give back event was very fun to participate in because we were able to meet families in lower income areas. We helped distribute items from backpacks full of school supplies to newborn essentials. I was also able to make new friendships with other key club members!" - Shivani Panchal
