1) How has Key Club had an impact on you? Keyclub has impacted me in the sense that I was able to get more productive; On the weekends since I didn't have school I would be slacking off at home playing games from sunrise to sunset but now that I participate in events it has been such a positive outlook on my life as a student and I'm so thankful that I'm able to just chill and go to events with such a strong community. Even thought I hadn't made that much friends in keyclub it has impacted my life for the better. I would recommend people to join keyclub for the sake of not only helping your community but also becoming more productive. And as you accumulate more hours you have the chance to socialize and enjoy yourself. Overall I think more people should join keyclub because you just get more active in your community, life ,and it's a fun way to earn community service hours.

NOVEMBER SOCIAL
“It was very fun and engaging. We were talking about random stuff like school and favorite movies. We also had a key club trivia where the board members spotlighted random people and their cameras on to answer weird questions about the club and the other members. It was probably the only virtual event that I actually had fun talking in lol. Hope to see you at the next social <3” - Betsy Zhang

NYDKC FALL CONFERENCE ”The nydkc fall conference was very enjoyable. The part I liked the most was the beginning, the guest speaker was very enjoyable to listen to with comedic effects, and throughout the event, there were many workshops that I enjoyed. One of which was the bean bean bean, which was interactive and was a fun website to use. It allowed me to support nonprofits directly. Overall I say that I would attend the NYDKC conference again.”

HELL'S KITCHEN PARK CLEANUP "The event was a clean up of the neighborhood at Hell’s Kitchen. We covered about 4 blocks by 4 blocks and collected trash. My favorite part was when we grabbed a random pumpkin of the streets and put it in our bags to be weighed. Another part I liked was being able to reconnect with a friend from 9th grade after not having contact for a year."

THE GIVE BACK FOOD GIVE AWAY
Club members gave back to the community by giving away food to the less fortunate and homeless! They were successful in providing over 200 meals to the homeless!!
NOVEMBER 26
Blue Friday Cleanup at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge ”The Blue Friday cleanup was a event that is about shoreline cleanup at the Jamaica Bay wildlife refuge. Volunteers helped clean up the beach from the area and make it spotless. My favorite part about the event was that I worked with my key club members to help contribute to the society by help clean up. And also make friends with the group members.”

Hike and pick ILLUMINATION:
SUN PROTECTION:
“In the hike and pick event, we walked through the orange trail as a group while picking up any trash that we saw along the way. The event was really fun as it gave me the chance to talk to other key clubbers and make new friends while we hiked through the trails. That includes having small talks with stranger who were also walking through the trail. The sceneries in the park also made for great pictures. Overall, the experience was very delightful, it allowed me to socialize and hang out with friends while also helping with the environment.”

Editor's Note Hey guys! Hope everyone enjoyed all the events that happened this month! I love how there were events EVERYDAY of the thanksgiving break and that so many people showed up even during the break. The biggest event ever was the Alley Pond Park Cleanup and it was amazing to see that we had more than 50 Key Clubbers!! The fundraiser went well too despite the hail. Overall, the club was extremely productive this month!! Let's hope to see the same level, if not more, of enthusiasm next month!
