BEST BUDDIES WALK NOVEMBER 2 Best Buddies Walk kicks off our November events of 2019! Although there was only a small number of attendees, each pulled their weight and then some to make sure to show their support, and was an all girl-squad! As the chill of winter finally sets in, our Key Club members stayed warm through warming the hearts of others, and helping out in the best way that they can!

QCP CHEER SECTION November 2019

QCP Cheer Section was our second event of the month. Our Key Clubbers stayed outside and cheered on racers of the QCP organization! Each member did a wonderful job in cheering, and we had a lot of fun with everything provided. Although the weather had finally begun to turn chilly, many members stuck through and made sure to let the runners know they had a lot of support!

Kidney Walk |November 10 Nvember 2019's Kidney Walk had a huge turnout for our Key Club! In total, we had 24 members attend this event, and everyone had a good time. Many said they had fun supporting the cause and doing it with their friends. Although the event itself was short, their help was long lasting, as it raised awareness for kidney disease.

NYCRUNS FALLING LEAVES HALF MARATHON & 5K Albeit a much smaller turnout than the previous event, these members should not go unnoticed. Not only was there only 7 members, but every single one stayed 6 hours to ensure the event went smoothly. They worked hard to show their support for the marathon, and although they weren't running, they felt the exhilaration all the same!

Our members traveled far to attend this event! NYSOM Thanksgiving helped spread the family cheer around the community by having activities,

arts and crafts, and opened its doors to all. Our Key Club members further extended that welcome by helping out in all different manners, promoting them and showing diversity. We came with a considerably large group, boasting 19 volunteers, but each did the work of many to make this event extra fun and lively!

ASTORIA PARK LEAF FEST DAY 3 NOVEMBER 23

NOVEMBER 23 This event wraps up our November events of 2019, and with its huge turnout of members, it sure seems like it!

Accumulating a total of 99 hours, our members cleaned and beautified Astoria Park. They worked hard and toiled to give this community a more welcoming, aesthetic park even though most did not live near. That day, you could feel the chill in the air, but it didn't stop our members from doing their part and having fun!
