1) How has Key Club had an impact on you? Key club’s impact on my life was very unexpected. I first joined only because many of my friends joined. However, soon I realized that the culture of giving back and helping the community really changed my goals in life. It made me more motivated to serve the community and give back to the community that I grew up in.
2) Explain why you would recommend other to join this club. I would 100% recommend others to join key club since it's not just a club. It also like a second family where you will be able to meet a bunch of new people. In addition to that, the serving of the community can indeed change the way you pursue things in your life.

June 9th
la familia es todo: protecting our loved one
-
from covid 19 webinar "Protecting Loved Ones from Covid was a very informative webinar raising awareness about COVID-19. It was really interesting to hear from others and learn about what future steps to take when dealing with this pandemic. While people are getting vaccinated, it’s important to still follow certain guidelines for other's safety and this webinar was important as it discussed these measures. I really liked how they even opened a discussion at the end to answer certain peoples questions about their experiences with COVID-19. I received 1 hour from it." - Aasiyah Aziz
June 10th
MENTAL HEALTH 101 WEBINAR
"This event was about what qualifies as mental health issues and how to resolve them. I liked how the webinar was interactive in the beginning when we were able to answer true or false questions about mental health. I received 1 hour for this event!"
- Norine Ho
SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION
"I attended the Sustainability in Action Webinar on June 12th! I learned a lot about how I can be environmentally friendly and what I can do to help as an individual! This means a lot to me because it is important to help maintain our environment well. It also acknowledged a lot about how I can be more conscious about food waste. This panel really opened my eyes to what I can do to help the environment. Overall, this event was fun and I earned 2 hours from it." - Jena Kim

JUNE SOCIAL
"At this event, I think it's safe to say that we all had a good time being part of something that was relaxing and fun which is something we all needed to conclude the demanding remote learning year we've been through. We shared our thoughts on going back to school in-person hopefully in September, what we would miss about remote learning, tips about AP classes to younger members, and the things we don't miss about in-person learning like the return of the dreaded backpack weight. Then, we played Gartic Phone which was a very exciting game of telephone but through drawings that we attempted to interpret based on someone else's interpretation of the prompt. Both rounds each had a different setting like secret mode and fast replication mode. The best part was seeing the gallery of photos that our club members dre, some of which were really funny. Overall, it was great taking some time to connect with other members of Key Club virtually." - Joel Pazmino

EDITOR S NOTE '
Hey guys! Hope everyone's doing okay. Can't believe school is over! This school year has been so different and challenging for many of us. So make sure you guys take some personal time this summer and just relax. A lot of people probably have some internships/jobs which is a great way to be productive but don't forget to use this time to enjoy and have fun too. Also, we will have a lot more in-person events this summer so be on the lookout for them as it's a great way to earn hours, enjoy the outdoors as well as make friends! yours truly, Adhishree <3
