During the Sustainable Fashion Volunteering Events, Key Club members participated in sorting, organizing, and donating clothes as well as researching on sustainability.

During the marathon, Key Clubbers helped set up and manage fluid stations by refilling cups with drinks, in addition to cheering on the runners!
Packing food for the less fortunate at the Evangel Food Pantry!
"Evangel food pantry was really fun! I got to sort out a lot of food into sections and the people there were extremely nice and giving! Overall, I would definitely go again as I strengthened friendships, interacted with more Key Club members, and had a fun time sorting with others."
Members helped manage the fluid stations by the marathon path as they refill cups of water and cheer for the runners.

FLHS Environment Project

FLHSKC joined the Environment Project in weeding and cleaning up Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Members helped the organizers of the Japanfes parade with managing lines, guiding crowds, and distributing materials!
Color Run aims to unite communities through an untimed 5k race where colored powder is thrown around.
"The 5k color run was one of the most fun events I had ever attended. I got to throw powdered colors on the runners and supply them with cold water during the scorching heat. It was amazing to see everyone, from toddlers to the elderly, enjoying being covered in colors while also running for a good cause."

“The Cupid 5K Chase Event was a very fun and new experience from usual Key Club Events I’ve attended so far. This time, I was the one running in a marathon rather than cheering on runners and helping fill cups with water/ energy drinks. This event made me feel like our participation in past marathon events really cheered up runners!”

FLHSKC members had fun bowling with QHSS as well as accomplishing a very successful fundraiser!
It was a huge collaboration with various fun games, a special live concert, winning prizes, and pie-ing board members! It was an incredible and relaxing event!

"The Key Club pool fundraiser was amazing. Lots of fun and a great time with others. From someone who no experience in pool whatsoever, it was definitely worth the experience. It gave me an opportunity to learn how to play and spend time with friends as well as meeting them. Plus side, all the proceeds went to charity."

With Kiwanis Club of Jamaica, Key Clubbers enjoyed the Easter weekend! We also helped hiding the easter eggs around the park and participated in various, fun games.
"As my first in person event, it was extremely fun! I was able to meet many people and make new friends. Helping hide those eggs was also a plus."
In celebration of Labor Day, we hung up flags around the neighborhood!

#HashtagLunchBag is a community service movement dedicated to empowering and inspiring humanity. They create bagged lunches with lovely messages to distribute to the less fortunate through community fridges.
Members volunteered by making sandwiches and preparing lunch boxes for children with colorful drawings and messages.

Induction events were held before new school year to get to know each other and members could get their hours certificates!
Through induction events, new club members were able to ice skate and bond together, enjoying the fundraiser! Membership materials were also given.
At Fall Rally I met Key Clubbers from all over New york. I also attended informative panels such as one on the awards process. It was great to see so many new faces and hear important announcements in person!
