Our first fundraiser of the month with our new board we, raised $140 for the Children's Miracle Hospital.

FLHS Key Club in working with Townsend Key Club helped run the fluid station by refilling cups with water for runners.

Volunteering at Evangel Food Pantry

We helped by sorting through and packaging food for people in need.

Queens Botanical Garden Compost and Beautification

We assisted the already existing volunteer staff in moving compost material to plants in order to spur their growth.

Editor's Note We had a very successful month as we not only instated our new Key Club board, but also had 7 events this month helping communities around Queens and Brooklyn, raised $140 for the Children's Miracle Hospital, and had our first Kiwanis event of the month. I'm so proud of all of us and hope that we can keep up the good work. As the new Key Club board, we also acknowledge that May and June are stressful months for all high school students and not just for those at FLHS, so in recognition of that, we won't have as many events as we would normally have for the next 2 months.
