1) How has Key Club had an impact on you?

Key Club has really impacted me and helped me grow as a person. Although it may not seem like it now, I used to always have trouble talking to others. Not only was this a great way for me to learn about the environment, I was able to grow as a person. What was originally lonely weekends, I now always have a fun way to socialize. I even began noticing the environmental damages (trash, pollution, etc) in my surroundings because of the very same things I was cleaning up. In key club, I was able to go to places or even boroughs I’ve never been to before, and I’m so thankful for all the friends I’ve made at these events although I’ve always went alone!

I would definitely recommend others to join this club because it helps you become more productive. It isn’t always just about cleaning up trash or helping the environment even if it’s a wonderful thing to do. It also helps you make a lot more friends, and get familiar with the faces at Francis Lewis, which I know a lot of Freshman like me have a hard time doing!

Or even transferring from another school like I did at first :)

LUNAR NEW YEAR PARADE MEMBERS CAME TO A 6 HOUR LONG EVENT AND HELPED SET UP THE LUNAR NEW YEAR PARADE! WHAT BETTER WAY TO SPEND THE LUNAR NEW YEAR THAN THIS?

MEMBERS HELPED DISTRIBUTE WATER AND FOOD ITEMS TO THE RUNNERS AT MARATHONS!!

THEY ALSO HELPED IN SETTING UP THE STANDS

Feb 17th

LAG X FLHSKC HAPPY KARAOKE FUNDRAISER

LAG and FLHS Key Club started the mid winter break with a karaoke night to take a much needed break from studying! All proceeds went to Alex's Lemonade Stand!

Feb 3rd

Blaze Pizza Fundraiser

Even with the fundraiser being on a school day, we saw our members keep up the fundraising spirit by going to Blaze Pizza throughout the day, buying pizza and having fun with their friends!

ONE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS were raised so great job everyone!!!

Editor's Note Hey guys! CAN'T BELIEVE that this is my last newsletter. It feels like I just started making them. It's been great making these and being a part of an amazing board!

I absolutely cannot wait to see what the upcoming editor does with the newsletter and how they improve it! I am sure you guys will love a different style of newsletters.

A bunch of events coming up so continue to participate in those and keep rocking those super cool FLHSKC hoodies!!!! AHH I will miss doing these :( It truly was a great time making these newsletters!
