@El Barrio Community Garden, 415 East 117, New York, NY 10019 At this WONDERFUL event, our Key Clubbers read a picture book of the beloved classic, The Wizard of Oz, to provide them with an educational and enjoyable afternoon! This adorable afternoon was accompanied by fun activities, and was our very first event of the school year!

...WAS THE FIRST OF TWO CELEBRATIONS OF CHINESE CULTURE! HERE, VOLUNTEERS HELPED BRING FESTIVITY TO THE EVENT BY PARTICIPATING IN DANCES AND HELPING OUT IN CERTAIN AREAS. THEY ALSO RECEIVED SOME VERY FASHIONABLE SHIRTS TO SHOW THEY WORKED HARD. MANY OF OUR MEMBERS ATTENDED, AND GOT TO ENJOY THE REST OF THE FESTIVAL AFTER THEY FINISHED HELPING OUT!

Our members thoroughly enjoyed this waterside event! Although it was a bit cold, nothing affected that day's attendees and volunteers. Everyone had a good time, and were able to see swimmers and boats rip across the water. The attendance for this event was rather small, but these Key Clubbers made the most of it, doing their part in making sure the event was a success. The two members above are Crystal Zheng[left], and Katie Vo[right].

BETTER CHINATOWN PARADE September 15th was a considerably hot day for a festival, but our members made it out like champs. Not only did they do a wonderful job helping out, but kept a positive attitude the whole time! Many of us worked at different stations, like moving gates and handing out food, and some even dressed in mascot costumes to bring even more fun to the parade! Everyone enjoyed this explosion of culture all the while adding to it. All of our Key Clubbers worked hard to ensure this event was a success, and had a good time doing it.

HRPK SUBMERGE MARINE SCIENCE FESTIVAL The Marine Science Festival was an awesome event about education and the celebration of science! our volunteers were of great help during this event, and had a lot of fun working! They were, of course, rewarded for their service with awesome shirts and treats. this event was also by the water, so it was quite enjoyable, and there was a slight breeze.

2019 COLOR WARS Take a look at our awesome fundraiser!
Color Wars was a wonderful collaboration between Francis Lewis, Stuyvesant, and Brooklyn Tech High School. Many members of Key Club gathered to have fun and compete against each other in a multitude of activities, all the while raising money for both Key Club and charity. Although there was a big clean up afterwards, the event itself made it worthwhile. Our members had a crazy fun time throwing pie and bursts of color at each other!
