MARCH OF DIMES ENDS MAY 15
VIRTUAL MARCH March for Babies and March of Dimes is virtual this year! Every step one takes at home will be converted to money and will be donated to help research of finding solutions and advocate for policies that prioritize mother and baby health, along with helping with resources during this Covid-19 pandemic.

NOTE OF HOPE People also wrote a note to a mom, dad or a family with a baby currently in the NICU, sharing: advice, experience and words of encouragement. A note to healthcare providers, nurses, and staff on the frontlines are also sent by our Key Clubbers and community.

Hi my name is Kelly and I’m currently a junior at our school. One of my short term goals is that I hope I get into Binghamton or BU and choose a major that I am interested in during college. I also wish to end high school on a good note with my friends and enjoy my senior year to the fullest. I joined Key Club because I needed more hours and I also like volunteering. After joining it, I made more friends which would have never happened if Key Club did not bring us together so I am thankful for the connections I made. Furthermore, Key Club has allowed me to assist those in need and socialize with my friends during the weekend.

We are currently holding virtual meetings through ZOOM until we return back to school. As of now, we don't have a schedule yet. It will most likely be on Wednesdays. We will always update you guys through our social media.

COMMITEE APPLICATIONS: Committee Members assist board members with tasks. They are posted on our facebook page. This is our first year doing this and we are creating two at the moment: VISUAL MEDIA: Assists the Webmaster in creating a poster, video, and scrapbook for LTC (Leadership Training Conference), as well as occasionally taking photos at events when the Webmaster isn’t available.
FUNDRAISING: Assists the Treasurer in planning fundraisers, contacting businesses, spreading awareness about fundraisers, collecting money from members the day of the fundraiser, and more.

This is my first Newsletter and I am still learning how to make these as I go. I am the worst at editing and making things look aesthetic but I will try my best to improve. If you guys have any suggestions of how I can make these better, please let me know! I will list my email so you can help me out. I will really appreciate any comments or any messages just saying hello. I know you're tired of hearing this, but I hope everyone is doing well. I know this can be a difficult time for anyone, it is definitely for me. I struggle with keeping myself productive and motivated because I am surrounded with my thoughts all the time. There are less distractions and it sucks when you overthink and have anxiety over things that won't matter in a few months. If you guys ever need to talk, you are welcomed to contact me through my email! We could arrange ways to call or text through the phone or just text through Gmail. I am getting messages all the time from my friends just to talk and you can do the same.
