Concept Development | Site Within the site analysis study and thorough understanding of the site requirements, Villa Elysol takes a modern twist on the characteristical angular roofs of the neigborhood design requirements through a dramatic 100ft wide trapezoid entrance roof that angles towards main house. The client’s dream house on the waterfront of Corales, Punta Cana was designed to cater dormitories and secondary corridors and kitchens for staff only on the front side, while opening large dining and living spaces for the owner’s special gatherings. The house has a roof deck and pool lounge area for outdoor activities as well as an understory with a private bowling alley, game room and movie theater for indoor activities and entertainment.

CONCEPT | Design The design for 221 E DiLido Drive is iconic for its massive longitudinal wall that divides the residence in half, while balancing the spaces and overall design of the house.This wall intersects the house from the exterior front facade as its raw metal cladding splits the concrete volumes on the rear facade.

The residence was designed to strategically display the individuality of materials, using concrete volumes that retract and cantilever through the facades while the raw metal acts as a cutting element as well as defines the laterals of the house. The living areas on the ground lever take advantage of the rear views to the water alongside the studio while the master bedroom and bathroom are prioritized with the water views on the

second floor of the residence. On the rear facade, you can find access to the roof deck through a spiral staircase that is designed to stand out on the balcony of the master area, making the visit to the top deck an experience of its own. The interiors are designed to show maximum minimalism and full display of its materials through fully concealed doors on all walls and recessed lighting on the ceiling, allowing a more continuous display of all the materials throughout the design. The high-end italian furniture is accompanied by specialty millwork throughout the house as elements like the integrated dining table in the kitchen island and master bathroom vanity are designed to be unique and exclusive to the house. Construction for the residence was completed in early 2021.

CONCEPT | Interior Design The design for Apogee 1904 emerges from the integration of modern art and high-end interior design, as the owner requested a design that exhibits wall art while specifying furniture that is art itself. The apartment is designed to integrate a hidden wall art hanging system within the reveals of the leather and marble panelings that surround the living room and library spaces. The clients have acquired a large collection of art, sculptures and unique furniture pieces that we had to incorporate and complement with custom artist furniture and rare stones.

The program of the apartment turned the existing four bedroom apatment into a two bedroom to accommodate a new gym, more closet space and open up the views through

an extensive combined living room, library and dining area. The space is characterized by the simplicity of surfaces as all doors are hidden within the wall paneling, all door handles and art hanging system are hidden within the vertical reveals and all air vents are hidden within the horizontal reveals. The flooring becomes part the baseboard as the wood curves up to the wall and ends in a hidden led detail throughout all paneling.

The door to the Master Bedroom is designed to be a mechanically operated moving piece that will continue the material of the wall paneling while including a niche for art. The composition of all the details, elements and furniture, shape the apartment into a grand exposition of high-end furniture and art pieces.

CONCEPT | Design Within Louver House Miami Beach, we were tasked with designing the interiors of a new apartment that would be the combination of both Penthouse P3 + P4. The apartments were never constructed as per the building’s initial design, leaving the apartment in midconstruction and open for a new design.The owner requested a high-end residence that felt warm in materiality and that would also accomodate spacially secondary rooms for guest and the childrens on a separate wing.

The combination of the apartments allowed for the Master areas and Living Room to be organized on one half of the apartment and have all the secondary rooms organized on the second half of the apartment. Above the main floor, the apartment includes a private rooftop deck with new flooring, lounge area, dining and surrounding planters. Within the interiors of the apartment, we can find fully custom designed details including a wood wall paneling that surrounds the main public

living spaces and master areas and conceal all door panels and handles. Following the curves of the walls, the ceiling retracts from the edges creating cove details that conceal an LED detail and integrate all air supplies for the apartment. The apartment includes four separate balconies and a rooftop deck, allowing the residence to glance surrounding views of Miami Beach from every angle while being located in the heart of South Pointe’s art deco buildings and high-end residences.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT| Design

The design for Menin Residence was developed through the integration of nature and architecture, noting that the house resides in the shoreline of Delray Beach, connecting the city with the ocean.

The entrance features a grand landscape with an integrated parkway that curves through nature, further showing the independent yet integrated buildings that compose Menin Residence hidden in nature. Materiality embraces the connection to the site and nature as the tone of the travertine

stone that covers the house resembles the sand and raw texture of its surroundings.The architecture itself opens up to its the trees and vegetation through the placement of three separate buildings that connect through bridges and integrated landscape that lighten the solidity of the buildings while merging with nature. The desing extends the integration of nature through green roofs and gardens from sky views as well as terraces with integrated gardens and green walls that become

Menin Residence is designed to provide privacy between the adults in the master building with the sauna, gym and spa areas, and the children’s bedrooms with guests and their own living room and kitchenette. The main building integrates the living spaces including club room, bar and a terrace pool deck.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT| Design The design for 1 BD DE BEAUSEJOUR was inspired by high-end french sophistication and strategic display of complex materials yet simple fabrics. The apartment, located within the heart of Paris, France, explores the beauty of modern simplicity combined with astonishing detail as high-end italian furniture meets the carefully crafted details of french architecture. Preservation and restoration of the elaborate and historic

cornices was fundamental to preserving the architecture of the apartment, most particularly within the construction administration phase of the project. Locally sourced companies were contracted to restore the original intricate design of the cornices as well as performing the careful gilding of a champagne gold leaf finish on the dining room. The residence has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms that integrate

modern high-end interior design, vintage decorative pieces and specialty stones, and marbles that showcase the luxury of the design and attention to detail throughout the apartment. Counting with eight accesable balconies,1 Bd de Beausejour allows the inhabitants the experience of upscale living while allowing views to the interior building couryard as well as views to the city and sights in the heart of Paris.
