Project Brief

This project is a new church facility for the local church group Harvest Connexion Church. The new facility is being placed within an existing retail building that is being rennovated to accomidate for the church’s needs, including a new adult worship space, a children’s worship space inlcuding breakout classrooms, and a warming kitchen. A second phase is planned to include other progams such as a youth worship space and administration space.

My role in this project involved the following:

• Preforming as-built measurements and model making.

• Assisting in early schematic design.

• Researching and applying local building code to the design.

• Developing the project’s construction drawing to be released for bid.

• Cordinating construction drawings with comments and drawings from mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and audio/visual engineers.

• Cordinating any ASI or change order that is needed to progress construction.
