SPRING 2021 & SUMMER 21/22 WHAT’S ON | WHAT’S NEW | DINING
WELCOME TO WYNNUM If you thought the sun had set on Wynnum, think again. Not only has the sun risen but the stars are aligned and shopping in the central business district is like a comet streaking across the skies. Wynnum has always been ahead of the fashion game with long established and popular boutique Got-A-Go Got-A-Go. Joining them are some complementary additions. Sonny Jim is for the discerning gentleman who likes to look and feel their best. From tops to cotton socked toes, Karen has something for every man including Top Grain Leather bags, wallets & satchels. Lingerie specialist Andria at Le Busté
ensures every woman feels like the star they were born to be. Offering Style, Support and Comfort, she promises to leave you with the perfect fit, whether it be sporty, every day or super sexy. Oak & Lotus have taken over the spot previously occupied by Sobidah Clothing who have moved to Edith Street. Tenneille & Chelsea provide their own curated lines of children’s clothing & candles, as well as home to other small women’s and children’s businesses. Good news on the café front with Fleur by Ellie on Bay Terrace adding High Tea to its offering as a Boutique Florist & Gift Shop. Edith Street has a new hole in the wall Café at Loan Crew to curb both your caffeine
and croissant craving. Coffee n Bricks in Bay Terrace not only offer coffee and Lego bricks but a friendly happy space to get creative. For the Pinball Wizard Multiball Mania opposite Mr Hibachi will give you a retro experience with Free Play Pinballs for a $15 entry fee.
Then for a date night, head to Hudson Brewery for a quick boutique style ale before taking in a blockbuster at Majestic Cinema. And if the night is still young head Cinema across the road to the Waterloo Hotel or around the corner to The Fat Duck for a cheeky nightcap.
Chocolate Elements will tempt your taste buds with delicious homemade chocolate, honey and artisan cheeses from local producers.
Click on the Wynnum Central & Visit Wynnum Manly FB pages for more details.
Lastly, why not drop in to the revamped Green Bean Café and chat to owner Abhash who took over the popular café in May, bringing his catering and baking experience to provide wholesome homemade dishes and cakes.
