The problem has become yet another in a long list of hurdles to overcome over a multi-year period, which, up to now, the town has managed to handle. roject Graduation at Kearny High School has existed since 1996, and for many of those years, one sponsor — the Kearny Applebee’s — has contributed over 75% of the food needed to feed 400 graduates for eight

hours. However, the local franchise informed Project Graduation the last week of May — just a few weeks before the major event — they are no longer in a position to do so. So Kearny high Project Graduation President Ann Rodriques and the committee are scrambling to either find a

group of restaurants willing to help or to raise the money to purchase the food. The menu is typically 300 hamburgers, 300 hot dogs, six trays ofchicken tenders, 200 chicken wraps, six trays of meatballs, eight trays of pasta (ziti, stuffed shells or cavatelli & broccoli), 200 veggie wraps, four trays
