He was a member of the Eagles Club in Kearny. Rich worked as a cook for Paul’s Diner for many years and later was a taxicab driver in Kearny. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Rich also enjoyed cooking and gardening, and had a green thumb for tomato plants in particular. Rich was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Shirley Wray, and his wife, Tammy Marie Haum Wray. Rich is survived by his brothers Fred and Donald Wray, his sisters Patty and Lisa Wray, as well as five nieces and a nephew. The family would like to thank Alaris of Kearny and Grace Healthcare Systems for the care provided to Richie. Funeral services will be private for the family at a future date. MAE AITKEN YOUNG
Mae Aitken Young died with her children at her side April 22, 2021. She was 93. Mae was born Feb. 2, 1928, to James Dixon and Elizabeth Wiebe Aitken at their home in Kearny. She lived in Kearny all her life until marrying Robert McKenzie Young on March 19, 1949. Mae was employed by Bell Telephone for many years and then by AT&T until her retirement. Mae was a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star serving as a worthy matron with her husband as worthy patron. Mae was very involved and dedicated to her faith and was an extremely active member of First PresbyteSee OBITS, Page 14
