The Bands in the Park programme will see live bands performing on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer – and it’s free for everyone to enjoy.

Food lovers come and experience the sights smells and tastes of the Kettering Food Festival. We will have a range of delicious street food tantalising local produce and thirst-quenching beverages. Come and enjoy the fabulous atmosphere and sample the offerings of regional chefs bakers and brewers. There will also be live music and entertainment, as well as a variety of artisan stalls to browse, and the event is free for everyone.

As well as having bands in the pleasure park, we are spreading the music out to the town centre with a relaxed few hours of fantastic local music.
Kettering Vegan Market will feature a handpicked selection of street food, artisan bakes, craft cheeses, handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing and jewellery, arts and crafts and charity stalls. In addition to offsetting the carbon footprint from each event, a tree will be planted for every business that takes part.

Part of Go Skateboarding Day, this event is open to all – from beginners to experts. There will be prizes to be won with a series of competitions throughout the day, as well as a chance to work on your skills with our fullyqualified coach.
Kettfest is back to celebrate the best of the town in a one-day festival of all that’s good about Kettering.
The main stage with live music will be in the Market Place, plus there’s BBQ and Busking by the Gold Street clock, Schtumfest in The Yards, a kids’ zone and spoken word tent.

A special event to celebrate the Summer Solstice, come and enjoy the longest evening of the year with our evening market.
The seaside is back in Kettering this summer with a host of free activities. The sandpit will be open six days a week with plenty of fun and games to be had.
The event is a chance to celebrate the best of charities, community groups and voluntary organisations and give something back to the community.
Enjoy the splash fountains, magic shows, games, theatre, Punch and Judy and much more.
As well as the stalls we will have traditional music and entertainment to celebrate the solstice.

Kettering residents are invited to help commemorate all those who sacrificed their lives for our country. At the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial people can pay their respects to the fallen with a service and wreath laying and on Remembrance Sunday there is a longer parade and service in the town.
