It is the role o f the clinical dietetic technician to assist the registered dietitian in the provision o f nutri tion care. T h e term “ clinical� signifies that this person specializes in norm al and therapeutic dietetics rather than in the adm inistration o r m a n a gem en t o f a dietary departm ent o f fo o d system.

Just what is MLT? The main emphasis o f the Medi cal Laboratory Technology Program is to teach students how to perform alanysis and tests on different body fluids. These tests play an important role in the diagnosis of patient illnesses which can help In effective treatment of the ill nesses. Some areas of study Include: urinalysis, blood counts, hematology, immunology, and serology.
