Tell us about yourself!
Hello fellow Kickboxers! I just wanted to introduce myself to the members that do not already know me. I’m Mallori, and I have been a part of the Kersey’s since I was only 14 years old! It’s going to be my 11th year this year. I began coaching 4 years after joining, when I was 18 years old and I have loved it, since the day I started.
When I was 14, I began to explore a variety of sports – baseball, hockey, figure skating, dancing, gymnastics – you name it, I probably tried it out. I never truly appreciated or enjoyed any of these athletic pursuits; however, everything changed when I discovered kickboxing. I immediately developed a deep love for the sport and became fascinated by the idea of using food to fuel my endurance and performance. Soon enough, sports nutrition consumed me. I spent my downtime watching YouTube videos and browsing
PubMed for anything I could find on nutrition. I sought out books at libraries and flipped through them looking for answers about how I could best fuel my body for optimal performance. The whole concept was so fascinating to me.
Although I still hold the passion I did when I was young for sports nutrition, my experiences have led me

Although I still hold the passion I did when I was young for sports nutrition, my experiences have led me to believe that I would like to work in the field of Clinical Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian. I intend to pursue a career within in-patient facilities, where I hope to offer continual support for pediatric patients and/ or infants in the Neonatal Intensive
Care unit. I have a deep passion for providing care to infants. I’ve always been interested in the medical field, and during my undergraduate studies, I discovered that I was particularly passionate for neonatal medicine. I want to provide babies with the best nutrition, to help them grow, thrive, and defy all odds.

Raw Vegetable Beetroot Salad Recipe

Hello spring! This salad is perfect for a warm spring day. It’s filled with local vegetables and herbs. I love finding new ways to incorporate different vegetables into my diet.
Beets are delicious and so easy to add into your diet. They are filled with vitamins and minerals, they contain anti-inflammatory properties, and can also help with stamina during exercise.
Ingredients:
Salad:
• 1 large fresh beet (peeled)
• 1/2 head red cabbage
• 1/2 large cucumber
• Handful fresh parsley
• 1/2 cup broccoli sprouts
Dressing:
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1/4 tsp fresh or dried dill
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1/4 tsp salt
Add all ingredients into a food processor (or you can shred them with a cheese grater), then add the dressing.
Mix and enjoy!

Meet Jeffrey Beech
Jeffrey graduated from the University of Windsor and became a registered kinesiologist following graduation. As a licensed health professional, Jeffrey has gained valuable experience working with clients across various age groups and fitness levels in rehabilitation clinics and fitness facilities.
Committed to continuous growth, he has pursued further certifications in concussion management, orthopaedic bracing, and FST (Fascia Stretch Therapy), enhancing the quality of care for clients. Jeffrey is currently pursuing his diploma in osteopathic manual practice to become a manual osteopathic practitioner.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Jeffrey finds joy in outdoor activities and actively engages in community service. Driven by a passion for holistic well-being and community
impact, Jeff combines expertise with a genuine commitment to improving lives through personalized and comprehensive kinesiology services.
