Eat a balanced, healthy diet

Eating a balanced and healthy diet is important for our overall wellbeing because it protects you against many diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet.

Healthy eating it helps you keep a clear head and helps you sleep well at night.

Snack less on crisps, sweets and chocolate.

Try and cut back and limit yourself from too many takeaways. Don’t buy as many fast food meals.

Check food labels for high calorie content

Try and drink mainly water – at least 7 glasses per day

Connect with Nature • Connecting with nature is important for your overall wellbeing. It is important to go outside and connect with the world around you because it is not good to be stuck inside all time.

• Going outside can boost and uplift your mood and help improve your mental health.

• Walking and exercising outdoors can help keep you feeling refreshed, calmer and fitter.
