Ihate to be the one to take you back to 2020, a time when the global pandemic took over the world and flipped everything upside down. But I promise you, this time it’s all makeshift and purely for fun. Now that we made it through that difficult season, we can finally use it to entertain ourselves (and maybe even educate future generations a little) without the anxiety attached.
At Escape Room Experience, located on the Ground Floor of the Karen Landmark Building on Karen Brooks Road, Nairobi, they’ve transformed that intense chapter into an immersive escape room challenge called Pandemic. It’s their easiest level, open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and booking is simple via KenyaBuzz’s Experiences page.
I have to admit, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was honestly amazing.
If you’ve never tried an escape room, here’s the gist. You’re given a storyline, in this case the pandemic, and your team must solve clues one by one to unlock your way
of Illusions
Enter the wonderful world of illusions where you can truly experience the impossible. Illusions challenge us to see things differently and reveal a lot about how our brain interprets reality. We invite you to visit us at the Museum of Illusions Nairobi where nothing is quite as it seems. Join us for an intriguing visual, sensory and educational experience!

out. Expect padlocks, hidden messages, coded words, and subtle hints sprinkled throughout. Some clues are straightforward. Others are trickier and require teamwork and clever thinking.
Even though Pandemic is labeled the easiest level, it’s far from a walk in the park. You have 60 minutes to escape, and if you get stuck, the game explainers who monitor your progress from outside can send in helpful hints.
For the best experience, they recommend 4 to 10 players per session. The more brains, the better your chances of escaping in time. Feeling adventurous? They also offer Classroom (medium difficulty) and Prison Break (the ultimate challenge) for those ready to level up.
If you love brain teasers and immersive challenges, don’t wait. Book your session at Escape Room Experience now and remember, no spoilers. Let the next team discover the thrill for themselves.
Group Tour + Meals Package (Minimum 6 people)
Enjoy an immersive tea farm experience featuring a guided tour, exploration of over 20 organically grown herbs, spices, flowers, and trees using all five senses, and hands-on plant propagation with organic compost. Learn about sustainable farming inside the organic greenhouse, harvest tea the Kenyan way, and process your own fresh leaves into orthodox tea to enjoy on-site. The experience also includes freshly brewed herbal teas from the garden served with light snacks.
