THERE is something deeply

humbling about standing beside the ocean and realizing how much marine life depends on our protection. For visitors exploring the Kenyan coast, the Turtle Watch Marine Centre Tour offers more than just a sightseeing activity. It is an inspiring and educational journey into the world of sea turtle conservation and ocean preservation.

Located at Nomad Beach Resort and operated by Local Ocean Conservation, the Turtle Watch program has been protecting sea turtles along the Diani coastline since 2012. Today, it continues to play a vital role in marine conservation efforts across the region.

What to Expect at the Turtle Watch Marine Centre

Your experience begins at the Marine Centre along Diani Beach Road, where knowledgeable guides introduce visitors to the delicate balance of marine ecosystems and the conservation work happening behind the scenes.
