Have a Ball! Summer Reading Kick-Off! Kick off the Kenton County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club on Saturday, May 30! Have a ball at all three locations. See calendar listing or www.kentonlibrary.org/92daysofsummer for details.

Free food including pizza sponsored by Snappy Tomato Pizza, snow cones from Kona Ice, cotton candy, inflatables and a variety of fun activities, music and games! Free parking at the garage across the street from the Library will be available for this event.

Durr: Saturday, May 30, 3:30-6:30 pm

Carnival-style games, bounce houses, create your own balloon animals, balloon sculpting, tethered hot-air balloon rides and free pizza sponsored by Snappy Tomato Pizza. All ages!

Erlanger: Saturday, May 30, 1-5 pm

Free pizza sponsored by Snappy Tomato Pizza will be served at 1pm, followed by a variety of fun summer and beach themed activities and games.

Take a photo with your book whether it’s on the beach, on a cruise, in a plane or your living room. Post the photo on social media using #kentonlibrary and/or #92daysofsummer knowing your photo might be used for publicity purposes.

Summer Reading Club Guidelines Children’s Guidelines

• Children ages 2 to 12 can pick up a book log at any KCPL location to begin reading or listening to books.

• After reading or listening to five books, return the log to the Library to win a book prize.

• After reading or listening to 10 books, return the completed log to the Library to receive a T-shirt or a drawstring bag. (Note: drawstring bags restricted to ages 5+. Prizes awarded while supplies last; T-shirt sizes not guaranteed.) You will also receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win the grand prize – a Nintendo 3DS XL OR an iPad mini.

• After completing your reading log, pick up challenge logs to continue reading for more chances to win one of the grand prizes.

• Each Library location will hold the grand prize raffle drawing by Friday, September 5, 2015.

• Children 24 months and younger can also win prizes by attending baby storytimes and completing a special booklog.

Adult Guidelines

• Earn one raffle ticket for every book read or program attended.

• Raffle tickets available at all reference desks, programs and www.kentonlibrary.org/92daysofsummer.

• One winner will be drawn every week for prizes.

Teen Guidelines

• Open to anyone entering 6th grade-leaving 12th grade.

• Enter by reading or listening to any book or magazine or by attending any program.

• Fill out entry forms at your Library’s reference desk or at www.kentonlibrary.org/92daysofsummer.

• One winner per branch will be drawn every week for prizes like:
