Nearly new used books and more available at the Friends of KCPL Used Book sale. Prices start at 25 cents up to $4. On Saturday, December 4, for $5 you can fill up a grocery bag of items.

Covington Youth Art Contest BABIES TO AGE 12

COVINGTON: ALL MONTH Submit your best library, reading, or book-themed art to our youth art contest! Winners from 5 age groups (0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-18) will have their art featured on mousepads in the Children’s and Teen departments, thanks to our new sublimation printer in the Makerspace. Submit artwork as a .jpg or .png file no larger than 9 in x 8 in to CovKidsKCPL@ gmail.com by Dec. 31. Library staff will vote for their favorites, and we’ll display the winning designs in the new year.

Winners will also receive a mousepad to keep, as well as a $25 gift card to Amazon.

Letters to Santa, Letters from Santa ALL BRANCHES: DROP OFF UNTIL DEC. 13

Children can mail a letter to Santa and receive a response from Santa by Christmas. Santa Express Mailboxes will be installed in the Kenton County

Public Libraries, the Kenton County Government Center and Kenton County Animal Services on November 15 and will remain there until December 13.

There is no postage necessary for letters that are dropped off at these locations.
