Congenealogy Monday, November 27, 6:30-8 pm Join local author and former FBI Special Agent William E. Plunkett as he talks about his book “The G-Man and the Diamond King.” The story, about a 1935 confrontation between a Cincinnati FBI agent and a career criminal in the Tri-state region, had major historic implications.

Homespun: Discovering Great American Artists*
Homeschoolers, Grades K-8 Wednesdays, November 1, 8, 15 & 29, 10:30 am-Noon Join us for a four-week series of handson art for children in the styles of several great American artists, including Mary Cassatt, Edward Hopper, Jacob Lawrence, and Louise Nevelson. Completed projects will be displayed in the Library. These programs will culminate with a docentled tour at the Cincinnati Art Museum to view works by these artists. Puppy Tales
School Age Sunday, November 5, 2-3 pm Help gain reading confidence by reading aloud to a real therapy dog from Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati. These gentle dogs will sit patiently and listen while your child works on their literacy skills. Every child in attendance will be entered to win a book and a plush dog of their very own!

School Age Wednesday, November 1, 10:30-11:30 am Experience the Shark Cart, a mobile aquarium with sharks, from the WAVE Foundation. The presenter will talk about the sharks, their unique characteristics, the food they eat and their natural habitat. Children will have the opportunity to ask questions and touch a shark! The shark program is made possible by a grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation. This program is limited to 50 kids and registration is required.

STEM Challenge Workshop*

Attendees will chose a STEM challenge from a brown paper bag and spend the morning working on it.
