Letters to Santa, Letters from Santa

ALL BRANCHES: 11/5 - 12/10 Sponsored by the Kenton County Parks & Recreation department, children will be able to mail a letter to Santa and receive a response from Santa by Christmas. There is no postage necessary for letters that are dropped off at participating locations. Each branch of the Library is collecting letters. Free to participate. Kenton County Parks & Recreation will also be collecting non-perishable food or personal care item donations.

OFF SITE: Sat., 12/1, 7-8:30 pm Join us at the Erlanger Depot Park for the annual Tree Lighting and visit by the Jolly Old Elf himself! Before and after the tree lighting, enjoy stories and a quick ornament craft in the Caboose!

Secrets, Songs and Santa Claus Are Coming to Town COV: Sat., 12/15, 2-4 pm Kathy Witt, author of Secret Cincinnati, and book photographer John Witt will talk about the life of Haven Gillespie and his iconic Christmas tune, “Santa Claus is Coming To Town.” Afterwards, join us for a showing of the 1970 stop motion classic. This is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome! Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Kid Events, continued Cocoa & Crafts

Preschool & School Age COV: Sat., 12/22, 2-3 pm Warm up with some hot cocoa and make a hand painted candle holder that could make a great holiday gift for your favorite grown-up!

“Frozen” Sing Along

Ages 2-12 COV: Thurs., 12/27, 2-4 pm ‘Let It Go’ and sing along with Anna and Elsa while watching the movie on our big screen. Really! Anna and Elsa will be visiting the Library and watching the movie along with us. Don’t miss a chance to sing along and meet them! Snacks will be provided and costumes are welcome.
