Holiday Concert — Cincinnati Harper’s Robin Saturday, December 12, 1-2 pm The Cincinnati Harpers’ Robin performs holiday tunes, traditional, Celtic and contemporary. The group consists of 8 members playing traditional Irish lever harps, creating a unique sound with interesting and beautiful arrangements.

Ages Birth-5 Wednesday, December 9, 9:30-11 am If you are a stay-at-home parent or other caregiver providing care for children in your home then the Play & Learn experience is for you! The 4C Play & Learn group gives children who are not enrolled in preschool a chance to interact with other children while learning and exploring through play. Jazz Concert with Jamey Aebersold

Mitten Tree

Monday, December 7, 7-8:30 pm Join Jamey Aebersold, winner of the 2014 National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master Award, as he plays some jazz tunes backed by a multimedia experience. You’ll learn about jazz instruments and composers all while listening to the sounds of piano, upright bass, drums and Jamey on saxophone!

December Help decorate the Mitten Tree at Durr Library with a donation of handmade scarves, along with hats, mittens or gloves. Items will be donated to Welcome House and Scarf It Up! of Northern Kentucky.

Rhythm & Rhyme: Sensory Storytime*

Preschool Saturday, December 19, 11 am-noon Sensory Storytime is an interactive and educational program that is especially designed for children with sensory integration challenges. It combines activities to stimulate the senses and promote learning. If your child has difficulty sitting through one of the library’s other storytimes, this inclusive program of stories, songs and activities may be a better fit for him or her.
