Homeschool Club: Butterfly Gardens
Preschool & School Age ERL: Tues., Apr. 24, 1:30-2:30 pm Homeschool students in grades kindergarten and up plan to get dirty planting seeds and learning about some of the plants that attract butterflies to our homes in the summer. At the end of the program, students will be taking home pots of planted seeds to grow and plant outside when the weather is warmer.
Authentic Japenese kites will be on display at the Durr Branch April through May. The kites are on loan from the Georgetown/Scott County Tourism Commission, Georgetown Historical Society and Yuko-En on the Elkhorn, the official KentuckyJapan Friendship Garden.
