Exciting New Additions to the Erlanger Branch If you have driven past or visited the Erlanger Branch recently you may have noticed quite a bit of construction taking place. The Erlanger Branch is adding several new features to the building. n

Weekly Preschool Storytimes

STREAM Center of Learning: This space will be Kenton County’s first public makerspace. It will feature 3D printers, computers loaded with creative desktop tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro and more, as well as button makers, a video to DVD converter, sewing machine and vinyl machine. This center will be open to the public during Library hours.

A larger public programming center: In order to continue to meet the needs of the community, a room that can accommodate 450 guests is being constructed. When not in use for Library programs, residents and patrons can reserve the room for use.

A small study room: This room can be reserved by the public for individual or small group work.

Toddler Time

Ages 2-3: Caregiver required Tuesdays, 7 pm Toddlers and their favorite adult are invited to a special storytime just for them.

The Library’s gallery will be home to artwork by elephants, snakes, and bonobos this spring! Meet some of the zoo animals at the event! From 2-3 pm: Enjoy a zoosational storytime and paint like the animals do! From 3-4 pm: Learn exactly how these animals paint from a Cinci zookeeper, mingle with some of the Cincinnati Zoo’s animals, and check out these wild pieces of art!

The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Presents Dr. Henry Fenichel Wednesday, April 19, 7-8 pm In remembrance of the liberation of concentration camp Bergen-Belsen in mid-April of 1945, Holocaust survivor Dr. Henry Fenichel will discuss his childhood in the German occupied Netherlands, his eventual transport to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, and immigration to the U.S. in 1953. He later taught physics at the University of Cincinnati for 38 years.
