The goal of this project was to design a mix use building in downtown Tallahassee. The building was meant to include a food market, restaurant & lounge, coffee bar, office spaces, and condos. Site challenges included a narrow site with an alley towards the east side, as well as a slope along College Avenue on the South.

Project Description

The concept for my building is "Visible Disconnect". With this concept, my goal was to design a building that stands out in the area, while still also blending into the environment and social atmosphere of the area. This theme is showcased in various design elements that share an implied connection, but purposefully lacks a literal connection.
