For over 40 years, fraternities and sororities at KSU have had a proud tradition of academic excellence, service to the community, and playing a significant role in the lives of hundreds of students and alumni.

Today, our community is comprised of 34 fraternities and sororities across four councils, including 14 culturally based organizations. There are 1,800+ members who make every organization unique and vital to our vibrant community.

Though the mission and values may vary, each chapter has a rich history of promoting scholarship, service, leadership, and community.

College Panhellenic council

The KSU College Panhellenic Council (CPC) governs seven Panhellenic sororities: Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Phi Epsilon, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Delta, Phi Mu, and Zeta Tau Alpha. Led by an Executive Board and chapter Delegates, CPC promotes the values and missions of its sororities. Rooted in scholarship, leadership, community, and service, this sisterhood enriches every member’s college experience.

Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) governs KSU’s 14 men’s social fraternities, continuing a 150-year tradition of excellence in academics, leadership, athletics, and service. The Interfraternity Council is dedicated to the academic and social development of its respective fraternities and their members. Our IFC community upholds this legacy through scholarship, leadership development, community service, and brotherhood.

Multicultural Greek Council

In the 1970s, a new kind of Greek organization began to emerge: multicultural fraternities and sororities. These groups offered a distinct alternative to the more traditional Greek-letter organizations, fostering an environment that prioritized unity, inclusion, and a strong sense of belonging. Their presence reshaped the Greek community, creating a lasting impact by broadening its scope and embracing a more diverse membership.

KSU NPHC, also know as the Divine Nine, consists of the 7 predominantly AfricanAmerican fraternities and sororities. These organizations are committed to scholarship, community service, and culture enrichment.

The council fosters an understanding of the structure and method of operation among the affiliate organizations; addresses, coordinates, and develops action strategies on matters of mutual concern to the affiliate organizations; and acts as a conduit for such action plans that may be developed.
