The 17th Annual Kennedy Catholic Golf Classic was held in honor of John Viniello, a beloved former KCPS teacher and track coach. John was a devout Catholic and advocate and supporter of our school, helping with the track upgrade just a few years ago. His daughter Stacy is a graduate of the Class of 1998.

The sold-out event was held at Mahopac Golf and Beach Club on October 1, 2020. Thank you to all the sponsors, underwriters and golfers who made this KCPS Golf Classic such a success. Together, we were able to raise $35,000 for student programs. Be sure to save the date for the 2021 Kennedy Catholic Golf Classic on September 30.

2020 Annual Auction a “Virtual Success ”

For the first time in 39 years, the Kennedy Catholic Annual Auction had to be held virtually. This is KCPS’ oldest and most important fundraiser, allowing participants to provide the gift of a Catholic Education. But holding it online didn ’t stop the fun or make it less successful, as the Lakeview Room, the Bridge and the Commons were still transformed into beautiful display areas for dozens of wonderful and upscale items, and people enjoyed the auctions (and the friendly competition) from their homes on December 14-19. The auction raised over $26,000 for Kennedy Catholic, and showed that our community ’ s support never waivers! Congratulations to Ms. Julie Salicrup and Mrs. Jane MacLeay who won the First and Second Place Christmas Raffle Prizes. Thank you to our program book sponsors and to everyone who donated items.
