Handmade in Italy

Before a pair of Valdo glasses makes it to you, it begins its story at world-renowned facilities in Italy, where every detail of your frames is brought to life by skilled artisans. Over 90 pairs of hands will touch every Valdo frame throughout its creation. It’s the skillful combination of traditional hand-crafted techniques with carefully selected modern technology that crafts a truly luxurious style.

Italian Acetate

Italian acetate, renowned for its quality and rich hues, serves as the foundation of every Valdo creation. Meticulously selected for its color palette and exquisite texture, this material elevates each frame to a work of art. Every piece of acetate in the Valdo collection is made from ISCC certified Acetate Renew.

Hinges & Hardware

The perfect fusion of form and function. Our acetate frames feature barrel hinges, specifically chosen for their durability and comfort. Metal styles utilize custom-made monobloc end pieces, ensuring a visually seamless design that enhances both strength and aesthetics of these styles.

Double Diamond Detailing

With subtle nods to the Italian mountainside, our V-shaped logo and doublediamond details are incorporated into many design features from temple décor to stamped bridges and etched eyerims. We’ve even achieved this detail via a delicate cut-away in every temple tip and a laser-engraved logo on every sun lens.

Custom Core Wire

Embracing the mantra that true luxury lies in the details, our frames feature a custom engraved core wire for a distinctive touch. With a shape reminiscent of the striking Italian mountains that surround the factories, the diamond detailing tells the story of its inspiration.

The Romano perfects

Refined in its minimalism, the Vittorio showcases the power of simplicity. With a lightweight metal structure and a slightly elongated circular shape, this rounded style is elevated with custom detailing that speaks to the meticulous Italian artistry in every Valdo frame.

Distinguished and self-assured, Vito reimagines a simple, squaredoff silhouette. A sculpted, sturdy browline silhouette with contrasting metal creates a masculine look, while custom engravings on the temples and bridge evoke hand-crafted detailing.
