Ngar-Go's Soup-er Recipe 2022
The zine is a design response to our study of the native indigenous Food Culture in Melbourne, particularly Fitzroy (Ngár-go). We wanted to challenge the different perspectives and mainstream narratives that Ngár-go has to offer
We hope to share our views, understanding, and experience as transient visitors in our zine. The zine ultimately opens up new discussions on the journey Ngár-go has gone through and prompts audiences to choose their own interpretation of its current state
Little Dragon
2023
A bittersweet love letter to the man who helped mould the artist into the person she is today: her father. Little dragon silently speaks about the bond between a father and a daughter that is built around the familiarity and harmfulness of smoking.
The Third Culture Dictionary 2023
The Third Culture Dictionary explores the tension in the artists lived experiences of being a Third Culture Kid. Struggling with a skewed sense of belonging, existentialist identity-related crises, this work echoes the frustration of ‘othering’ from peers and even family members through the violence of language
The artist experiments with the use of common spoken language across cultures in an attempt to bridge the gap between worlds and the understanding of self, through performativity. Here, she speaks into existence her identity and demonstrates how these identities are performed through the act of code-switching.

Navigating Normal
'Navigating Normal' is a film and sound piece attempting to induce a state of recollection and reflection whilst mirroring the process of re-experiencing one's memories. Bringing the audience on a journey through the usages of banal sounds, this work invites viewers to pause for a moment of reflection on the idea of 'normality'. Is familiarity what constitutes this idea of 'normal'? By relying on the viewer to bring their own experiences and associations to interpret and complete it, 'Navigating Normal' provides a space for the audience to put their thoughts in perspective and reflect on this concept

Bawang Merah & Bawang Merah
2023
Bawang Merah & Bawang Merah is an experimental film that attempts to explore the concept of the other / othering / otherness by looking at how the city is made for men by men.
Through psychogeographical methods, the artists act and take on the role of flaneurs and wander around the streets of London. Donning the traditional garments of the Malayan Peninsula, the artists intentionally others themselves further by wearing an attire that is not a norm in the foreign land.
