Welcome to the 5th annual Riverside Angus & DERSTA Farm Black & Red Angus Bull Sale. We are honoured to once again sell our red bulls alongside the spectacular set of Black bulls the Stigings have brought to town. THANKYOU to our past and current buyers that put your trust in our program. Thankyou to each and EVERY bidder that threw their hands up.

Every year seems to get busier and busier. the kids all participate in the day-to-day activities and then some. 4H, Calving, Fencing, Seeding, Haying, Camping, Jr. Shows, more camping, harvest, weaning, Volleyball, Lego club, Basketball, Swim Lessons, Jr. Curling, and Club Curling. Just a few of the things that keep us united, and on the road.

The Red bulls this year have really encompassed what we are striving every year to do. Maternal power runs strong in each bull. If not for outstanding cows our program would not be where it is today. We are consistently seeking out new genetics to improve ours and most importantly YOUR cow herds. Like they all say the Cream rises to the top. Proof is in the pudding. And that cream has been made into the pudding right outside. We had a very heavy Heifer year again and if you know me at all that excites me. I LOVE to keep heifers and they are the best set ever and those half sibs are right outside.

Cow herd, Herd Bulls, yearling bulls and calves are on a complete Bovishield Gold Zoetis health program. All DERSTA bulls will be vaccinated with Bovishield gold, 8 Way, and will have both first and final booster shot of the foot rot vaccine. Our herd health is under the careful watch of both Alberta Veterinary Service, Dr. Rick Katchuik, and Innisfail Veterinary Services, Dr. Rob Dehaan.

And Big Thankyou to Healthy herds for our ration. Even through the devastating fire that destroyed their entire storage and grain inventory end of Dec. They managed to get us our feed on time without interruption. Hats off to you boys for a tremendous service.
