Delivery will be made at sellers convenience and plenty of notice will be given to the buyer. Any bull not accepted by the first of May will remain on the sellers yard until picked up by the buyer with a cost of $5/day. $100 will be taken off the sale price of any bull taken home the day of the sale.

Insurance Insurance will be available sale day and encouraged. Seller will assume NO responsibility for any injury or loss of bull after sale.

Viewing of Bulls Bulls will be available to view sale day location from 12 pm March 10, 2024 till sale time or anytime prior to the sale on the farm.

Location Liability The owners of the sale location and the sale consigner’s will assume NO responsibility for any loss of personal property, injuries, dismemberment or death that occur on or at sale location.

On behalf of DART Simmentals, KWIATKOWSKI Cattle and SHAYSON Cattle we would like to welcome everyone to our 6th annual bull sale.

2023 was a great year to be in the cattle industry, all the way from calves to finished steers these were the best prices any of us farmers have seen. 2024 is looking to follow suit, which is well overdue just to compete with the rising cost of parts, fuel and feed. It is nice to finally see a profit for everyone in the cattle industry and be rewarded for what we love to do on a day in day out basis.

We have numerous bulls on offer that will fit all requirements, from 2 year olds that will go out and cover those extra cows for you, to performance yearlings that will add extra pounds to your calf crop in the fall, all the way to easy calving bulls that will be great candidates for your heifer pen. The quality and diversity of this pen of bulls is what we strive for as breeders.

As you go through the catalog you will notice our bulls are heavier than previous years, while our feeding program remained the same. The simple explanation would be the above par winter that allowed for easy comfortable growth without having to fight the elements. Also with the evolution of our genetic programs we have managed to increase growth without compromising longevity. With over half of our customers being repeat buyers from year to year, it is a true testament to our breeding and developing program.

Bulls will be sold via video screen in the Goodridge Hall, with the bulls being penned on location for viewing prior to the sale. We also welcome anyone to come view the bulls any time at the farm , we are extremely proud of and stand behind the bulls we raise, we are never too busy to talk cattle. We are also excited to welcome DLMS back, to be able to accommodate anyone who is unable to attend the sale in person.

Raising cattle is a passion and a way of life for us three breeders and without the support of our clientele, friends and family throughout the years we Average EPD’s for wouldn’t be where we are today. A bull who presents himself very well, he’s deep sided, big middled, and thick all throughout. Legend is another solid bull that comes out of our herd bull BEE Rakuten. The consistency in these guys is unmistakable.

207L’s dam is a well-built cow we purchased off of Bernie Klammer back when we first started. She hasn’t disappointed us in her yields in calves yet. This guy is one we are very fond of.

A spectacular individual who combines calving ease and growth. Being born out of a first calf heifer with a meager 70 lb birth weight and not giving up on any of the qualities on the performance side. He competes neck to neck with every other bull in the pen, which his pedigree would suggest, combining the calving ease of State Of War and the growth of Crossroad Connected. Also packing one of the best EPD profiles I have ever seen, with calving ease and birth weight in the top 10% of the breed and weaning weight and yearling weight both above 35%. This Lass has grown into a well rounded bull that has endless opportunities for any breeder’s program.

Interesting pedigree in this bull, his dam is one of our few fullblood cows and when she came into heat during AI’ing we were out of fullblood semen so we went ahead and bred her State of War, which turned out to be an excellent combination.

Smooth head and shoulders and as long as they make them. With his dam having a picture perfect udder, with his milk EPD being in the top 20%, we would be excited to see how a pen of his daughters would produce.

This bull is my favorite out of the Connected sons, who unfortunately, did not photograph to his full potential. Smooth in his design with extra rib and plenty of rear quarter to top it all off. His dam is highly ranked in our herd as being one of our most consistent cows, raising top quality offspring like 2L no matter who she’s bred to. This is where Legends are made.
