Time For The Stage - Acting I & II (Ages 6 - 13)
It's the day of the show y'all. Taught by Kevin Leary, this course is where we take the script created by Kenan Theatre Kids and debut it live on the Taylor Theatre stage! We will continue our work in acting, stagecraft, and working together as a team, but this time with the end goal of a live performance. Through rehearsal techniques, improvisation, and learning lines, we will build confidence, imagination, and collaboration skills. From page to stage, let the adventure begin!
In addition to Mondays through May 16, we meet May 13, May 18, and May 20 with 2 performances on Saturday, May 23.

Racquet Sports (Ages 8 - 14)
Our Racquet Sports program introduces kids to tennis, pickleball, and badminton through fun, age-appropriate activities. They’ll learn serving, rallying, footwork, and coordination while building confidence and enjoying teamwork.

Coding Club (Ages 8 - 14)
Where we EXPLORE the world of coding! This beginner-friendly class teaches the fundamentals of coding and programming through fun projects and hands-on challenges. Taught by Tyler Davis, participants will build skills, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life, no prior experience needed!

Gaming Club (Ages 8 - 14)
Connect, collaborate, and compete with other gamers! In this supervised program taught by Tyler Davis, kids of all skill levels can enjoy Kenan’s new computer lab, meet peers who share their interests, and play on a gaming computer of their own.

Sports Sampling (Ages 5-10)
Where we LEARN the basics of multiple sports! Designed as a beginner-friendly class where players can expand their sports knowledge or explore new interests, this session of Sports Sampling will have Disc Sports, Floor Hockey, Lacrosse, and Volleyball!

Rhythm & Sound w/ Matt Knott (All Ages)
4 biweekly sessions of musical journeys guided by musician and sound practitioner Matthew Knott. Relax the mind and body through instruments and sound. Each week, guest musicians perform their own unique calming and mindful instruments. All musicians will gather for a final performance inside the Taylor Theater on 5/19 at 7pm. This will be free for everyone that is registered for the biweekly sessions. Others may purchase tickets.
*All participants for the weekly sessions in the Kenan House are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, pillows, blankets or bolsters for preferred comfort.

Watercolors (Ages 5-14)
A series of classes that introduces watercolor as a medium. Students will learn techniques with room for artistic expression. Projects include color mixing, layering, using masking fluid and other resistance methods. Students will get to use finishing mediums like ink pens and paint markers to really make their art pop.
