FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How do I register for classes or lessons?

A: Registering for a package, a class, or a lesson can be do y g Ryan Jump, Director of Racquets at rjump@royalmelbourne.net. You may also call the racquet shop at (847) 821-5208

Q: Why are packages a better deal than drop-ins?

A: Packages allow more flexibility in the programming you want to participate in, will always lock your spot in case of high registration, and there is a discount for registering all at once for a specific program rather than dropping in.

Q: Why is registering for a program prior to the season important?

A: Our goal as a racquets department is to provide the highest quality member experience coupled with elite racquet instruction. To do this, it is important to know how many members are attending a specific program. This allows us to staff appropriately in both quantity of teaching pros and the experience of each pro teaching said program (ex: pickleball v cardio tennis v tiny tots).

Q: What happens if I need to schedule a makeup class from my package?

A: Email or call Ryan to set up any make-up programming needed to equal to value of your package. Makeups can be done in a form of an event, private lesson, or another class, at the value of the missing credit.

Note: Package credits do not carry over from season to season (tennis and pickleball packages are different from Paddle and expire at the end of the specific season).

** Our racquet staff will be accommodating to you in every way possible to make sure your needs are met regardless of what racquet sport you play! Please contact or visit the racquet shop for any questions. **
