Welcome to the Lau Annual Bull Sale hosted
by Lau Angus and Lau’s Valley View Farm. We are excited to be having our 50th year of selling registered Angus cattle. We are confident that this group of bulls we have selected are the result of generations of breeding cattle that have withstood the tests of time we as cattle producers put them through.
We realize we are in a very competitive business that’s why our goals haven’t changed. We strive to improve the quality of Joel & Carolyn Lau with grandkids, Ottilie & Emmett the cattle we raise as well as produce cattle that have a balance of all the genetic traits. Genomic testing is one tool we are using that has increased the predictability of the cattle we are selling. We know pounds pay and that is only part of the equation. We must continue to maintain structure, but most of all, breed cattle that are profitable in the environments they live in. You are more than welcome to come & view the cattle at the sale site March 21st and March 22nd or at their respective farms prior to that. In early March, the bull videos will be available on DVAuction.com for your viewing. All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment. The bulls have been ultrasounded and fertility examined by Northwest Veterinary Supply, Parkston, SD. Our bulls are on a comprehensive vaccination program; this includes spring and late summer shots as recommended by our veterinarian. Also, the bulls have all tested negative for BVD. All bulls are free of all known genetic conditions either by pedigree analysis or DNA Test.
