If the cattle are not taken home sale day, they will be left at the ranch at the buyer’s risk. We offer free boarding for the bulls until April 1. Heifer purchases please pick up at your earliest convenience. Please make arrangements with us on boarding your bulls.

herd health All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment. The bulls and heifers have been ultrasounded and fertility examined by Sweetgrass Veterinary, Dimock, South Dakota. Our cattle are on a comprehensive vaccination program; this includes spring and late summer shots as recommended by our veterinarian. Also, the bulls have all tested negative for BVD. All cattle are free of all known genetic conditions either by pedigree analysis or DNA Test.

We realize we are in a very competitive business that’s why our goals haven’t changed. We strive to improve the quality of the cattle we raise as well as produce cattle that have a balance of all the genetic traits. We know pounds pay, but that is only part of the equation, but most of all we must continue to maintain structure. The bulls have been DNA tested and parent verified so their EPD’s are reflective of the genomic results along with ultra sounding for carcass. The heifers are also parent verified and carcass ultra sounded. We feel this valuable information allows you to select bulls and heifers with confidence. You are more than welcome to come & view the cattle penned outside at the sale site March 25th and March 26th or at their respective farms prior to that. In early March, the cattle videos will be available on DVAuction.com for your viewing. We look forward to seeing you March 26th with our beef lunch starting at 11:30 am.
