Welcome to our 39th offering of bulls. We could say what every other bull catalog says: our bulls are the best, you can’t go wrong, we love you, you need these genetics in your herd. But why? It got me to thinking, “Why do we do, what we do?” For some of us, it is what we grew up with. Others stumbled into the cattle obsession on their own. Still, others of us fell in love with that special someone who was a cattle person and signed on, maybe a bit naively about what it would all mean. No matter the reason, we are here. We are selling these bulls and you are checking out our catalog trying to determine if this bull sale will get you what you need at a price you can afford. So, let’s cut to the nitty gritty of it all…. We sell stout, powerful, structurally sound coming two-year-old bulls that have been raised in a pasture to promote growth and soundness. They are range ready. They are made to sire efficient, easy keeping females for your replacement herd and feeder cattle with the power to grow and perform at the sale barn and feedlot. Come check out the bulls. They are always available for viewing. If you can find some time (believe me, we know it isn’t easy) come on over. If you can’t break away our bulls will be available for viewing on DV Auction, a first for us. If calving or weather becomes an issue DV Auction is a safe and easy way to get your bid in without leaving your responsibilities at home. You can also come the day before, March 3, or the morning of the sale, March 4. As always, we will provide you lunch on sale day. A roast beef sandwich with all the fixings will be waiting for you in the sale barn café. Thank you for your consideration. And even though everyone says it, I would imagine we all mean it – we will be very happy to see you on sale day. -

Health: All bulls sell with health papers for immediate shipment. They are semen tested and fertility is guaranteed.
Terms & Conditions: Bulls sell under the standard terms and conditions established by the American Angus Association. Sale block announcements on sale day will take precedence. Hall Ranch will retain 1/3 interest in all bulls selling. Buyer retains full possession and salvage value.
first breeding season guarantee: All bulls are guaranteed against breeding injury for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following first turnout of bulls. Credit for the amount of purchase, less $3,000 per bull, will be applied toward a bull for replacement. Credit can be used at the time of loss if the buyer finds that we have a suitable replacement available. If the buyer prefers, the credit can be used at the following year’s sale on a bull. The buyer will keep the salvage value of the injured bull. This is not a mortality insurance policy. Mortality insurance will be available at the buyer’s expense on sale day.
delivery:
Free delivery will be provided for all bulls within 300 miles. Arrangements will be made with the buyer beyond that point. Haul your own bull home on sale day and receive a $50 refund for each bull purchased.
