Building Shell - NTS

Utilize the space for collaborative and individual work stations, while being able to accommodate all PATCHies. Offer a variety of colors and textures throughout the space to create a feeling of home and spark new ideas. Incorporate daylight into the space planning throughout. Encourage the use of energy-efficient and sustainable materials, creating an eco-friendly atmosphere. Stimulate productivity through various uses of technology incorporated into the work stations.
Project Overview The client for this project is PATCHwork, which is a co-working company that brings people together who need an interactive space to do work and conduct their business throughout the day. For this design, there will be an emphasis on collaborative workspaces that are flexible, as well as some individualized areas for when necessary. The PATCHies here will have wired work areas that are fully furnished, a reception desk area, a beverage station with drinks and snacks, 24-hour access, mail/package handling, videoconferencing abilities, and private phone rooms. The floorplan layout will be designed to focus on egalitarianism, meaning that all PATCHies will be treated as equals and receive equal opportunities.

Starks Renovation Residential Project
Project Overview Renee Starks and her college daughter and their new rescue dog Matilda have moved to a new home. They are still unpacking boxes! The goal is to finish the lower level as a type of suite to accommodate Samantha (daughter) so she has more privacy and independence. Given their location to Epic it is possible in the future the space could be used as an Air BnB for potential income.

Project Overview The client for this project is the Santini Family, who are in need of an updated layout in their home. It is an older home and part of the historic homes of McFarland, however, the client is not necessarily interested in keeping the new finishes original to the era of the home. The purpose of this project is to create a better layout and flow through the home, by expanding the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry on the main floor as needed to accommodate their family of four. The floor plan will be designed to bring everyone together in a fun and beautiful space.
