Education and Career Background Her educational journey began at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark where she participated in a Nursing Study Abroad Program. This international experience not only broadened her perspective but also instilled a deep sense of empathy towards diverse cultural health practices and approaches. This empathetic thread then continued into her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Washington, DC.
