I helped with design input on floor plans and exteriors. I assisted with drafting in revit and got experience looking at construction documents. Additionally I worked on digital modeling, renderings, and details. I gained experience in client meetings and communicating with material representatives.

Fourth Year- Partner Project
This project is located in Springfield MO, at Lake Springfield. Surrounded by many farming districts, Springfield could become a hub for farming and distribution. However, many are uneducated about the processes of farming, especially in younger generations. There are many food deserts around, creating a stronger need for food production. The main points of this program is a vertical farm, community gardens, and a market to address these needs. The circulation pattern follows the growth cycle of a plant starting with underground parking and ending on top of the park, as shown in the diagram. All elements are centered around education as a way to give back to the community. Exposing citizens to these skills can allow them to grow items at our community gardens, as well as starting their own gardens. This can become a more affordable and healthier alternative for people struggling with food scarcity.
Rogers Brewing Company
Second Year
Located on historic 1st street in Rogers, Arkansas, the brewing company works to synthesize the local atmosphere. The second floor outdoor seating and rooftop event space provides a perfect view across the street of an outdoor amphitheater, playground, and farmers market. The conference room on the second floor angles out to respond to the history museum across the alley. The back patio space works to activate the previously mundane alleyway. The Frisco railway, founded in Rogers, is particularly important to the city, many of the views are framed to capture historic railway features. Many of the window types resemble railways. The company is a brewpub, serving both beer and other menu items. The building’s circulation pattern works to take you around the brewing process.
Parc de Bercy: Urban Winery
Third Year
Located in the depths of Paris’ East business district, this project gets no lack of attention from the locals. The corner on the river posts a historical significance by being along the start of Paris’ old trade route. With wine making and sales being prevalent in Parc de Bercy’s past, this makes it the perfect location for a vertical farm winery. With visitors being able to tour the building and the farm itself, it allows the experience to be interactive and educational. The circulation pattern in which people experience the building follows the process of wine making. The form’s modular structures work to frame views to the places that shape the historical significance of the site. It creates views to the Siene, Bercy Village, and the Bibliotheque Francois- Mitterand.
Chicago Riverfront Housing
Third Year
Located on the Chicago River, this project encapsulates a hybrid approach with natural and urban elements. The complex includes a grocery store, daycare, underground parking and apartments. It features an “L” shape to fit within the Chicago grid. It includes an all timber structure with CLT paneling. Wooden slats line the balconies allowing for both privacy and views. It features a rooftop garden that offers primary views to the river, along with the city. The different heights of the building allows a transition from the small to large heights of the adjacent buildings. It also creates an ideal ratio of apartment types; 20% 3 bedroom, 30% 1 bedroom, and 50% 2 bedroom.
